Message from the Athletic Director

Snow, rain, freezing rain, sleet and mud everywhere…mustbe time for spring sports. However, the fact that we arepracticing with our teams and have our schedules ready toplay gives me a reason to be thankful. It was almost a yearago that COVID-19 made its presence known and broughtour spring seasons to an abrupt end.

While COVID-19 disrupted so many of the things

we loved and enjoyed, we did learn to appreciate

so many things even more than ever. The resilient

spirit of our school community, and the forward

leadership of Spartanburg District 2 schools , gives

me great hope and much positive energy as we

head into our spring 2021 seasons.

I wish all our coaches and players great success

this spring. We are not “out of the woods” yet but

we are very close to moving past COVID and

returning to normalcy.

We invite our fans to get out and support our spring

sports. If we need to regulate attendance numbers

the information will be made public prior to games.

Our outdoor areas have ample room to

accommodate social distancing guidelines based on

the number of fans noted from previous seasons.
