The total number of overnight stays of domestic tourists is 41.3 percent and 58.7 percent of foreign tourists. Number of overnight stays of domestic tourists decreased by 15.5 percent compared to December 2014, but it’s for 32.6 percent higher than in January 2014. The number of foreign tourists increased by 16.6 percent compared to December 2014, and is 24.4 per- cent higher than in January 2014. According to the type of the accommodation, the highest number of overnight stays was in Hotels and similar accommodation with a share of 95.3 percent. The structure of foreign tourists in January 2015: tourists from Croatia (30.8 percent), Serbia (20.2 percent), Slovenia (7.5 percent) and Turkey (6.3 percent), making a total of 64.8 percent.
