Starting with this issue of the newsletter, you will receive a regular update on the Qur’an Campus and Dream-39 project, inshaAllah (Item No. 7 below). This month also, we saw slow and steady rise in the number of schools that are implementing the UQA syllabus. Of course, these are extremely few compared to the number of schools out there. We beg Allah to help us reach out to as many as possible. For this, we really need support from all of you in terms of publicity, prayers, and partnership (in sponsoring teachers).

1. UQA syllabusin 120 Schools:

Alhamdulillah! The list of Indian Schools is increasing. We would have reached all schools, had we had more resources! We ask Allah to bless us with more resources. Following is the number of schools in different states. Within brackets, cities are shown:

2. UQA syllabus in 5 Madaaris:

Five Madaris have already adopted UQA Course before and this month No new madaris are added to the count..

Some new madaris have been contacted and made further follow up with the previous ones.

We request you to introduce our course in Madaaris that you are familiar with. It will insha Allah make their start of Arabic learning very easy, smooth, and interesting.

3. UQA syllabus in 52 Study Circles:

Qur’an Study Circles are informal small groups, mostly ladies gather weekly basis to study UQA Courses. By this program, UQA has been able to reach out to 100’s of Muslim homes with the message of Holy Qur’an in past few years. Huge enthusiasm is witnessed among the attendees. These Study Circles are run for Read Qur’an and Understand Qur’an courses (SC -1 & SC -2).

This month we have run 2 TTC Programs at Aiyeshabai & Abdullatif Trust in Mumbai and Alhamdulillah 46 Teachers are trained.

The demand for TTC is so huge that the Year-2015 is almost booked. Reason: Very few trainers. We need sponsors for more trainers .

5. Activities at Hyderabad Head Office:

Weekly Teachers’ Training (every Friday).

NLP in Classrooms Training Sessions

Spoken English classes for all teachers and staff.

Regular inspection of the teachers at schools.

7. Update on Qur’an Campus and Dream-39 Project:

The work on Qur’an Campus is progressing Alhamdulillah. As of now, we have

Almost 8 acres of land is already acquired by the academy.

Registration of the land is done under Mount Mercy Foundation (under which Understand Qur’an

Academy is also working)

The construction of the Masjid is also nearing completion.

The construction work on the first building that can house approximately 60 person (teachers +

students) is nearing completion. Every effort is being made to complete this facility before Ramadan

starts so that we can have some residential programs in Ramadan.

The UQA team has decided to start with the following courses as soon as the building is ready:

1. Teachers’ Training Course 10-days course

2. Understand Qur’an & Salah – Course 1 (50% of the words of the Qur’an) – 3 days course

3. Understand Qur’an & Du’aas – Course 2 (70% of the words of the Qur’an) – 3 days course

4. Read Al-Qur’an – 5 days course

5. Learn Tajweed – the Easy Way – 3 days course

We can start Dream-39 too, i.e., teach the complete Qur’an in 39 days. But as of now, instead of

reserving the facility for 39 days to a group of 50 to 60 people, we planned to use this facility for

multiple groups of 50 people in the same period of 39 days.

For Dream-39 course, we pray to Allah to bless us with the resources so that we can construct the

following:

An auditorium that can accommodate 300 to 400 people (50% gentlemen and 50% ladies)

A hostel for men

A hostel for women

A kitchen and dining facility with separate dining halls for men and women

May Allah bless those brothers who have especially dedicated their time, resources, and efforts to help

us complete this facility.

Our Vision:

To remove the illiteracy of the Qur’an from the current generation and to bring

up a Qur’anic generation for future so that they can practice as well as be able

to convey the message of Qur’an to the whole humanity.

To present the Qur’an in its reality, i.e., the most interesting, the most relevant

book for day-to-day activities as well as the most important book for success

in this life as well as in the hereafter.

Please note that:

The objective is not to produce scholars of the Qur’an. There are many

institutions, which are doing this.

It is for a common non-Arab Muslim so that he is aware of Allah’s guidance.

Our mission:

Teach the Qur’an in the easiest possible way for adults, teens, and children

from schools and colleges, and madrassahs.

Prepare Qur’an Centric Islamic studies.
