School Development Planning

As a school we are currently finalising our priorities for the coming year. As

soon as our School Development Plan is completed, we will share our

priorities with you .

Attendance

If for any reason your child is absent from school can you please inform the office as soon as possible. All absences must be recorded

on our registers and fully explained to the Educational Welfare Officer. If we are not informed of absences then this will result in a telephone call being made to you, asking the reason for

your child's absence.

Thank you for your support in this matter.

Back to School Evening

Thank you to all those that attended the Back to School Evening. It was great to see so many attend. It was a lovely opportunity to meet the class teachers and discuss the year ahead. Topic planners and class information was sent home following the meeting. This information

will also be available on the school website. If you have any questions or queries about the term ahead, please do not hesitate to ask a

member of staff.

Individual parent consultation evenings to discuss your child's progress will take place on Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th November.

Appointment details will be sent out closer to the date.

Planning Ahead

If you have pre-school children/babies (0-3) that will be attending Crymlyn Primary can you please contact the office to provide some details including

name, date of birth etc. if you haven't already done so. This allows us to plan ahead for the future and provide the best possible provision for the children.

Friends of Crymlyn

There will be a PTA meeting in the Towers Hotel on Thursday 26th September at 7:30pm. This is a lovely way be become involved in school life and help support future fundraising events. If you have any questions about the Friends of Crymlyn group,

please ask.

I look forward to seeing you there!

School Parking and Yellow Lines

The yellow lines outside school MUST not be used as a drop off or pick up point for

children, even for the shortest of times. Please park safely, sensibly and be mindful of

the local residents. I fully appreciate how difficult it can be to park at busy times but

pupils’ safety remains a priority for us at all times. Our local PCSO will continue to

work closely with the school and make regular, unannounced visits to monitor the

situation throughout the day.

I thank you for supporting us with this matter,

ensuring the safety of our pupils.

Thank you for your continued support Mrs Jefford
