The main execution items concerned with the management in 2009 was a board of directors, a member general meeting and a next year event committee. Furthermore, we had the steering committee of five times, the ASIATEC organizing committee of three times, and the ASIATEC2011 sponsor committee of one time concerned with the ASIATEC2011 preparation. We had the seminar of seven times. The number of members of SPE Japan Section's in 2009 was 45 people. ,77 people by the headquarters. (37 people and 82 people in 2008 respectively.)The settlement in 2009 was the black of about 420000 yen. ( about 150000 yen surplus in 2008.),The participation number on the whole to the seminar of 7 times was about 263 people. (153 approx. in 2008) The change of the officer during 2009 years. Mr.Asayama was asigned in President-Elect. Mr.Maeda of Zeon corp took turns to Mr.Ogiwara and Mr. Kanai of Idemitsu Kosan to Mr.Suetsugu.at the end of term. Mr.Harada retired from a director and become a Aidutor.

We had the seminar of 7 times on 2009. We held the ANTEC introduction seminar in August 2009.Public information didn't go well, and a participant was dull.　The lecture on the plastic for the medical treatment in October 2009

was successful with 55 people.　 There were a few participants so that a project might not be definite as for the seminar in Osaka of

December. Nanocomposite, joint seminar in February was the participant of exceeded fifty people. April was a successful meeting with sixty participants at the third time of Composites for Auto. The subtitle of the seminar related to nano is "the realization of nano structured material". The subtitles of composite forAuto were "the adhsive" of the metal and plastics because of car lightening. The settlement of a theme with the sense of purpose is definite seems to call audience's popularity. A new lecture in May could be held under participants' sixty consent as a plastic material related to the energy in Osaka,by the support of Mitsubishi Electric corp..June 2010 was a lecture on the global warming. However, The total participation number has increased 263 people more than 100 people since the preceding fiscal year. As for the revision of the policy, it could confirm that it was going in the direction which was taken and to advance it and that a reform was better.Though the 2010th year, The manage will be in a board of directors, a general meeting and the next year event committee and the steering committee. We will have the various arrangement committees properly to prepare ASIATEC2011 in 2011. We want to lead ASIATEC2011 in February, 2011 to a success. Through the year、we will have the ANTEC2010 introduction seminar in August,

October in the BIOPLASTICS seminar, December in energy relatives. April in the fourth composites for Auto, May in Osaka specialty, June in the appliance. We may ask for support by many voluntee with ASIATEC2011. The success or failure of this conference believes that it becomes a big knot when the aim of the activities of the future SPE Japan section is told. We ask for the persons concerned support. We will open ASIATEC 2011 on February 15, 16,2011 in Tokyo Big Sight. SPE Japan Section renewed a system until then in 2008. Japan Section shifted emphasis to the activities to turn information on the country and the Asian bloc from the activities which moved transmission to the country of the overseas information to the center to the world and which were sent. Holding of ASIATEC2011 is asked to the result of those activities. At present, we apply ourselves to the preparation with taking not only a SPE Japanese branch member but also the support of volunteer with the aim of holding in February, 2011. May I ask for everyone's warm support?

The new year of SPE Japan section began in July.Introduce of the action policy of this year, and asking for the cooperation of the member various older brother .It goes into the new century, and ten years pass, and changes the direction of plastic technology as for former times. Though both production and consumption change to the developing country, plastic industry begin to fit the movement of the SPE headquarters in America cordially, too.We don’t know whether a decrease of SPE member, in the US country, can be recovered, by the participation appeal to the SPE activities for in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and so on.

A SPE Japanese section decided holding of the ASIATEC 2011-- 2011.2.15～16 Tokyo big sight -- as the pillar

of the big activities in this year in the background of the world like this. We have extended the width of the activities in the time, and took a close-up of Asia in the world with the center of the future development in the view. We want to do the information sending to which was useful for the people concerned with not only the SPE section member but also the plastic business world since the foundation of the 50th anniversary. It is pleasure if we can talk about the plastic conditions change of Asia since in Nagoya for 2003 years once in autumn grasped. We expect a conditions report from everywhere who represents the plastic business world of the SPE section of the various Asian countries and from the headquarters this time, too.

Petrochemical, plastic industry is the future growth industry. The depolarization of the plastics industry happen the trend of the general-purpose material and the trend of the advanced material. The general-purpose material which one mass production should be necessary continues the rapid rising demand to deliver safe water to the multiple people and food. The big factory in the resources productive country is processed into the package material, the container, and so on from a base raw material polymer to provide, and carried to the consumption area. The industrial activity in Japan can help the capital investment so on.,

On the other hand, the advanced country is necessary the advanced materials with the high performance plastics in the field of the medical, the energy, and the energy consumption industries. A direction to the engineering plastic, the high-performance plastic, the high strength plastic, and so on is remarkable in the material field.Then, the mechanical product with very precise dimension precision,and with getting the structure of large high reliability, a function part, and so on are looked for with plastic goods manufacturing technology from the material.

Our activities are these days it thinks not to do its best so that it can take a change in the situation in the world in advance.Everyone's support asks to have the activities to proceed for a Japanese plastic engineer so that not to be late for the movement of the world and to go continued as a SPE Japanese section.

Editing postscriptA question mark of a world economy was added about EU's own non stability in a moment due to the Greek finance crisis in Europe. Though Mr.Hatoyama administration exited and Mr.KAN cabinet is organized, it stumbles in the country in a state of twist of the House of Representatives and the House of Councilors.We will have the big event of ASIATEC 2011 in February 2011, and be expected to be successful in this Conference.
