    SELF LOVE IS NOT SELFISH

S elf love is a key to confidence. When you put yourself before anybody else in your life, you gain confidence. If you are able to love yourself and accept yourself the way you

are and turn your flaws into assets, you will be happy.

Self-love decreases stress and anxiety. When you are always

concerned about not loosing others you end up loosing

yourself. So, your life should not be dependent upon others,

you are the builder of your own life, achiever of your goals.

No one will either do that for you. Make not losing yourself

a priority so that you attract people who respect you and

reciprocate. You should always take time to work on your-

self. After all self love is not selfish. When you know yourself,

you are empowered but when you accept yourself you are

invincible. Surround yourself with people who lift you up.

Part of self-love is having a higher standard for your inner -

circle. Always believe in yourself. Love yourself loud. Go

confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you

    have imagined.

Self love is one of the biggest superpowers you can use to

achieve anything you set your mind to.

    TIME TO DEVELOP SKILLS

W henever we have vacations, we get overjoyed and enjoy vacations by visiting new places, watching mov-ies, organizing parties and get together with friends. But recent

vacations which we have got due to COVID-19 outbreak

should be spent doing some creative work and equipping skills

instead of whiling away time and sitting idle at home. Those

who are interested in culinary, they can excel themselves by

learning to cook more variety of delicacies. Those interested in

art and craft, can assemble waste material to generate some

good showpieces to decorate their homes. Now-a-days every-

one likes to wear designer clothes, so, one can exhibit talent

by experimenting with old stuff. Learning different languages is

also very good, so, we can learn specific phrases, diction and

small greetings in foreign languages using internet. In this way,

we can use these lockdown vacations to develop various skills

sitting at home till the situation becomes normal.

    MY EXPERIENCE OF BOARD EXAMS

I thought that Board exams are as simple as any other usual exams but I could not escape my mind boggling questions like why does everyone emphasize on getting good marks in Boards? Why do everyone fear the Board exams? Actually, the hype has been created about the class-X Board exams due to which even a thought of taking it gives students nightmare. However, I

realized they are just like other exams which the students have been taking in their previous classes, only difference is that they

are the first nationalized exams. A successful accomplishment in these exams takes student to another level in his career pro-

spects. Also, a good result in Board exams signifies the level of sincerity and responsibility in students’ career and decision

making process. At last, the most awaited day came when I was sitting in examination hall. It was my faith which helped me to

overcome nervousness. My confidence kept on increasing with every paper attempting. I learnt that facing Board exams prepare

oneself for higher and tougher exams. The only thing one needs to learn is to manage stress.
