BOOK REPORTWe start working on our book project in class this week during our reading station rotation and we will have it finished by August 31.The book summary is worked on at home and is due on August 31. Summaries may also be submitted by email. You may find a copy of the Book Summary Rubric at our website.

SPELLINGThis week’s word list includes long vowel spellings. The practice page is homework and is due Friday...Spelling test every Friday, too.

MATH RP.1.1 Understanding Ratios RP.1.3 Using Ratio ReasoningWe took the standard assessment on RP.1.1 today. Students will keep the current topic lessons in their take home binder. When the standard has been assessed, the lessons are kept in a binder. With this organization, students have access to all math standards, all year.
