Wishes do come true, just ask Collin! After a trip to Florida with his parents, Anna’s husband surprised everyone when he waltzed home with a few lizards for

Collin. All is not well, though, since Collin won’t even touch them! Wow, we’ll have to stay tuned to see if he blossoms into a good pet-parent.

Meanwhile, family fun was in bloom as Anna’s crew joined family for an Easter dinner and egg hunt. Niece, Alana, was the hostess with the moist-est, as she took her first turn as family event hostess. She proudly showed off her new place while her two Great Dane’s chased all the kiddies around during the egg hunt. Their pleasant holiday wrapped up with dinner and a movie at Nana’s. Err, well, the kiddos watched the movie while Nana napped. Shhhh, we’ll never tell!!

Spring rains blew in lots of showers which have put a damper on the boys’ baseball practice but they are gearing up for the season

anyway. Collin wasn’t so excited that he was signed up for baseball until he saw his soccer teammates at the diamond. Whew…now he is ready to ‘play ball’! Spring also brought a very nice surprise for Sidney as she was invited to join the National Honor Society! Hard work sure does pay off and we are proud of this great accomplishment! Way to go, Sidney!

Anna They say there is ‘no such thing as a free lunch’…however they didn’t say anything about

a FREE SUMMER! Miss Megan has the light at the end of the tunnel in sight and will be sprung from scholastic jail in no time. To say she is

ready to be done with exams, home-work, tests and projects is an understatement. She’ll have the summer off and can’t wait for 4 months of lazy, summer days. Let’s not get too carried away, she’s bumping up her hours at Spicer Wealth to full-time. Although she won’t be able to sleep in late, she’ll have lots

of free time to visit with her sorority sisters! Hmmmm, I wonder what kinda fun they’ll get into? I’ll keep all my little birdies on this unfolding story!

Heater is dancing a jig and with good reason!

one and all would be big winners as every-one placed bets on Hot N Shooting to win the 13th race! The whole crew met in the winner’s circle after Hot N Shooting fin-ished with a new lifetime mark and had their picture taken. Can you spot Bryon, Dick and Kathy? Our congratulations go to Harold and David for all their hard work helping this beautiful creature meet his full ability.

If you want an exciting evening you really need to venture south to the Miami Valley Raceway. Bryon, Kay, Dick and Kathy

teamed up with Betty, David and Amy Ward to cheer their new horse, Hot N Shooting, to victory. Harold and Betty are the owners while David and his brother Dennis are the trainers of this special horse, who has already won three of his last four races. Half way through the evening Kay made a mad dash for the slots to see if she could cover Bryon’s losses at the track, but little did she know

The Spicer Wealth Family all came to

believe in fairies after watching a magical performance of Peter Pan at the Wright State Theater recently. “I do believe in fairies, I do believe in fairies” is what the whole audi-ence was chanting as they clapped to help Tinkerbell recover from Captain Hook’s poi-son. Almost one hundred of Bryon’s clients, friends and family convened at the Wright State Playhouse to experience Peter Pan as he teaches the Darling children, Wendy, John and Michael about flight and escorts them to the magical Never Never Land. The boy who won’t grow up, who wreaks his boyish may-hem on his nemesis, the evil Captain Hook, as he saves his lost boys and the Darling children, continues to speak to all of us who fondly remember childhood.

To conclude the evening, Bryon and Kay hosted a delightful dinner at the Holiday Inn and welcomed guest speaker, Joshua Cro-sley of First Trust Portfolios. The ebullient group was kept on the edge of their seat as Joshua’s presentation proposed what he and Chief Economist Brian Wesbury foresee for the economy in the near future. If you missed Joshua’s stimulating presentation, maybe we can persuade Joshua to make an encore performance after the Wright State’s fall presentation of Chicago!
