DORMAAGOLDPROJECT-GEOCHEMICALSAMPLINGPROGRAMUPDATEToronto, September 6, 2017 – RosCanMinerals Corporation (“RosCan” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: ROS) is pleased toprovideanupdateonthegeochemicalsamplingactivityattheDormaaGoldProjectinGhana,WestAfrica.RosCanisearninga50%interestintheDormaaGoldProjectfromPelangioExplorationInc.(‘Pelangio’).GEOCHEMICALSURVEYSCOMPLETEDONTHEDORMAAGOLDPROJECTTherecentlycompleted in-fill soilsandtermitemoundgeochemicalsamplingprogramcovereda9kmby2kmareaandfollowed-uponthemostprominentgroupofpreviouslyidentifiedgoldanomalies.Theprogramconsistedoftakingalmost2,000samplesoveratotalof75linealkilometersoftheprojectarea.Allsampleshavebeensentforassayanalysisandtheresultswillbereleasedoncetheyarereceived,validatedandcompiled.Thegeochemicalprogramresults,togetherwithpriorgeochemicalresultsandgeologicalmapping,willbeusedtoplanthenextphase,consistingofaircore,reversecirculationandRABdrillingaswarranted.ForfurtherdetailsabouttheDormaaProjectandthejointventurewithPelangio,refertoRosCan’spressreleasedatedMarch6,2017.COMMENTARY“IwasfavourablyimpressedwiththeDormaapropertyandthePelangioteam”,commentedRosCanPresidentGregIsenor,following his first site inspection since his appointment as President. “I had the opportunity to inspect both the overallpropertyareaaswellasthesubstantialgoldanomaliesthatareofimmediateinterest.Ireviewedadetailedreportonalltheexplorationresultstodateaswellastheplansfor futuredrillprogramsonthe identifiedtargetsand I’meagerly lookingforwardtothefuturedrillingresults”.“InadditiontotheDormaaProject”,Mr.Isenorsaid,“RosCanisalsoevaluatingfurtherhigh-potentialprojectsinGhana,andotherareasofWestAfrica.Duringmystayintheregion,Irenewedacquaintanceswithothergoldcompanies,hadanumberofmeetingswithgovernmentofficialsandmetwithprivateexplorationpermitowners.Wearecurrentlyreviewingagrowinglist of potential gold projects for possible acquisition and joint venture. Given the favourable geology, the potential for new golddiscoveriesissubstantialandpresentsRosCanwithaclearopportunityforaccretiveacquisitions”.“IamveryexcitedtobeworkinginWestAfricaandI lookforwardtobuildingRosCanintoasuccessfulWestAfricangoldcompany”,statedMr.Isenor.ABOUTTHEDORMAAGOLDPROJECTInNovember2016,RosCanacquiredanoptiontoearna50%interestinthe86.44squarekilometerDormaaProject,anearly-stagegoldexplorationprojectlocatedinwesternGhana,for$160,000cashand$2,000,000ofexplorationexpendituresoverthreeyears.TheDormaaProjectisunderlainbyBirimianmetavolcanicandmetasedimentunitsoftheSunyaniBasinwhichisparallelto the prolific Sefwi-Bibiani Belt - host to Newmont’s Ahafo and Kinross’ Chirano gold deposits. The geology ofsouthwesternGhana isdominatedbyBirimianSupergroup sedimentaryandvolcanic rocks. TheBirimiamof theDormaaregionischaracterisedbyhydrothermaldepositsassociatedwithNW-SEtrendingshearzones.TheregionrepresentsoneofthemostsignificantProterozicgreenstonegoldbeltsintheworldhostinganumberofsignificantdepositsasshownonMap1below.NewlyreleasedsatelliteimageryindicatesthatextensiveunregulatedartisanalandmechanizedalluvialminingoperationshavebeenoperatinginthedrainagesystemsintheeasternportionoftheDormaapermitarea.Thesealluvialoperationsappeartobesourcedbylargegold-in-soilanomaliesonoraroundtheDormaapermit.

Between 2011 and 2013 broad spaced geochemical sampling over the entire property area, followed by closer spacedsamplingoverthenorthernone-thirdof thepropertyarea,revealed21significantgold-in-soilanomalieswiththe largestmeasuringupto4kilometreslongand500metreswide.
