Dear Parents, Carers and Community,
Thank you for all the students, parents,
community and staff who turned up on Friday
night to join in our end of Science Week
celebrations. All had a great night and apart from
a minor generator issue mid-film everything went
smoothly, (we won’t mention the cloud cover and
no moon).
Our organisation for the Uluru trip is well
underway. A big thank you for your letters of
support - Central Darling Shire, Ivanhoe Roosters
Rugby League Club and Ray Longfellow, Ivanhoe
Post Master in helping gain the grant from PHN
Western NSW. A special mention to Fay
Johnstone and the Community Working Party for
their letter. Fay has been working hard at regional
meetings to ensure that all the kids at Ivanhoe
get equal access to services and opportunities.
We are still missing a rocket from our
rocket-launching day. Please return to school if
found.

Progress update!
We have a fence! Construction is coming along swimmingly
with our fence and the poles for our shade sails are up. It is
looking amazing and we can’t wait to
see the finished result.
Playgroup will NOT be on Tuesday 27th
August and Thursday 29th August due
to Sara being away, but will resume on
Tuesday 3rd September.

Items for publication in the school newsletter need to be submitted to the school (via email or in person) by 4pm Wednesday, prior to publication. This will ensure items are included in the next newsletter. Phone - 02 6995 1108Email - [email protected]
Due to large numbers of community advertisements coming into the school to be added to the newsletter, the cost is escalating. We would like to continue to produce large and colourful copies but to make this possible we will need to charge a fee for each advertisement. $5.00 for a one off or $20 for a month.
