Sixty three signs were put up, to provide a genuine «Graves and Sauternes Wine Route», within this wine-growing area which expands from the south of Bordeaux to the Langon area. After having been closed to the public for three years, it re-opened its doors to share the areas once again, with wine lovers. Visits conducted in both French and English are scheduled daily. Passionate about the Bordeaux region where she has lived for many years, Valérie Lemonnier has invested lots in the renovation of this

19th Century building. Located on the Graves and Sauternes Wine Route, it is an ancient property belonging to wine merchants and the Lillet family, the museum of this famous aperitif located just a few metres from this location.

Thanks to the flare for decor of the new owner, inspired by a love for travelling and a taste for fine things and beautiful materials, the charterhouse has rediscovered its splendour of times gone by. Welcome to Bébert in Cap Ferret

In the Arcachon Basin

At Cap Ferret, the hut, «Cabane de Bébert» welcomes guests within a laid back setting. The four rooms are loyal to the spirit underpinning the oyster-farming villages of the Arcachon Basin. The hut is ideally located at the foot of the dunes, 300 m from the beach. Philippe Dupoy inherited the house from his grandfather, Bébert, who built it in 1965. With a knack for restoration work, Philippe carried out all the work. In one of the rooms, the shower is formed of pebbles and the bed headboards are made from wood pallets.

By way of an aperitif, the owner offers guests the results of fishing excursions: small wild mussels, fish terrines and rillettes, all homemade using authentic, fresh produce.
