KEEP YOUR KIDS SAFE

Release Number: (#18-056) One Stop Shop, LLC, of Feeding Hills, Mass., is announcing the voluntary recall of about 350 children’s pajama sets. This recall involves children’s 100 percent cotton knit, two-piece, long-sleeve top and pant pajama sets. They were sold in three different styles: Santa Claus print with a white button and black and gold belt screenprint; Elf screenprint with a white Peter Pan collar, three red buttons and a black and gold belt; and reindeer screenprint on the top with a Faire Isle pattern on the pant and a reindeer on the top. “Mad Engine” “RN 129993” and the size are on the neck label. The pajama sets were sold in children’s sizes XXS, XS, S, M, L and XL. Mad Engine claims these recalled pajama sets are counterfeit. Problem: The children’s pajamas fail to meet the flammability standard for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children. What to do: Consumers should immediately take the recalled pajamas away from children and contact One Stop Shop for a full refund. Release Number: (#18-058) Dream On Me, of Piscataway, N.J., is announcing the voluntary recall of about 23,400 crib and toddler bed mattresses. This recall involves Dream On Me spring and foam mattresses for cribs and toddler beds. The recalled mattresses were sold in a variety of colors and prints. The model number and date of manufacture are printed on a tag on the top center of the mattress. A list of model numbers and date of manufacture range can be found online. Problem: The mattresses fail to meet the mandatory federal flammability standard for mattresses, posing a fire hazard. What to do: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mattresses and contact Dream On Me to receive a free mattress cover to bring the mattress into compliance with the federal flammability standard. Release Number: (#18-056) Crate and Barrel, of Northbrook, Ill., is announcing the voluntary recall of about 6,800 Crate and Barrel Dakota benches. This recall involves the Dakota wooden bench. The bench has two legs and was sold in two sizes: 51 inches wide by 18 inches tall and 71 inches wide and 18 inches tall. Problem: The benches can tip over while in use, posing a fall hazard. What to do: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled benches and contact Crate and Barrel for a free repair. The firm is notifying all known purchasers directly. Release Number: (#18-061) Todd Snyder, of New York, N.Y., is announcing the voluntary recall of about 2,100 Todd Snyder + Champion brand sweatshirts. This recall involves Todd Snyder + Champion brand men’s 100 percent cotton brushed fleece knit, long-sleeve, reverse weave sweatshirts. They have ribbed side gussets and a Champion applique logo on the left wrist. “Champion Processed Sportswear + Todd Snyder New York” is printed on a label at the neck. The SoulCycle sweatshirts have a SoulCycle logo on the front. Problem: The sweatshirts fail to meet federal flammability standards for clothing textiles, posing a burn risk to users. What to do: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled sweatshirts and contact Todd Snyder to return them for a full refund plus a $50 gift card. Consumers who purchased the sweatshirts online will be contacted directly by the firm. Release Number: (#18-065) Superior Importers, LLC, of New Brunswick, N.J., is announcing the voluntary recall of about 6,200 Home Life mattresses. This recall involves Basic 6-inch and Basic 8-inch models Home Life mattresses sold in twin, full, queen and king sizes. Recalled mattresses are ivory with tan and gray. “Made For: Superior Importers company, 502 Jersey Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ 08901”is printed on a white tag located on the top side near the foot of the mattress. Problem: The mattresses fail to meet the mandatory federal flammability standard for mattresses, posing a fire hazard. What to do: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mattresses and contact Superior Importers or the place of purchase for instructions on receiving a free mattress cover to bring the mattress into compliance with the federal standard. Release Number: (#18-066) Squatty Potty, LLC, of St. George, Utah and Amazon, of Seattle, Wash, is announcing the voluntary recall of about 2,400 children’s toilet step stools. This recall involves the Squatty Pottymus children’s toilet step stools used to assist a child in reaching a toilet seat. The plastic step stools measure about 15.8 by 16.8 by 10 inches and were sold individually or as a part of a set, which included a toilet seat and decorative stickers. The step stool is designed to look like a gray hippopotamus with blue or purple eyes. It has a height-adjusting aqua blue hat top step and cut-outs that function as handles on each side. Problem: The top removable step (hat) on the recalled children’s toilet step stools can detach while a child is standing on it, posing injury and fall hazards. What to do: Consumers should immediately stop using the children’s toilet step stools until they remove the hat. Consumers should contact Squatty Potty for instructions on returning the hat portion of the stool, free of cost, for a $10 refund. Release Number: (#18-069) Rocky Mountain Bicycles, of Canada, is announcing the voluntary recall of about 1,300 mountain bicycles. This recall involves all model year 2018 Altitude, Instinct and Pipeline mountain bicycles. The carbon fiber and aluminum bicycles were sold in different colors. The model name is printed on a sticker on the top tube of the bicycles. Rocky Mountain is printed on the down tube. The Rocky Mountain logo is also printed on the headbadge on the headtube. The specified platform family is also printed on the rear triangle of the bicycle at the seatstay. Problem: The brake cable housing was not secured properly during manufacturing, which can cause brake failure, posing a crash hazard to the rider. What to do: Consumers should stop using the recalled bicycles immediately and contact an authorized Rocky Mountain dealer for free inspection and free repair. Release Number: (#18-707) Melville Direct LLC, of Dedham, Mass., is announcing the voluntary recall of about 1,700 Bits and Pieces Fiber Optic Christmas Trees. This recall involves Bits and Pieces Fiber Optic indoor plug in Christmas tree. The full foliage branches have fiber optic light strands that change color. Each tree comes with an AC power adapter that is attached to the gold tone colored base that holds the tree in place. The AC power adapter plugs into a standard household outlet. The 18 inch tall tree item number is 43560 and weighs about three pounds. The 31 inch tall tree item number is 43559 and weighs about four pounds. The item numbers can be found on the UPC barcode label on the box. Problem: The AC power adapter can overheat, posing a fire hazard. What to do: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled power adapters, unplug them from the Christmas Tree and contact Melville for a full refund and free shipping. Release Number: (#18-070) Wohali Outdoors LLC, of Broken Arrow, Okla., is announcing the voluntary recall of about 26,800 children’s three-piece pajama sets. This recall involves children’s 100 percent polyester, three-piece pajama sets that include a printed long-sleeve shirt, pants and a coordinating solid color robe that has matching printed lapels and cuffs. The sets have a printed label with “BASS PRO SHOPS” on the back of the neck of the long-sleeve shirt and robe and at the back of the pants. Each of the garments also has a sewn-in side label that has “RN number 74747” printed on it, and underneath that label another sewn-in label that has PO# 3515 or 3516, a style number, and the phone number 1-800-BASS PRO. Only sleepwear in the style numbers below and with a label identifying PO# 3515 or 3516 are included in the recall. Problem: The children’s pajama sets fail to meet flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children. What to do: Consumers should immediately take the recalled pajama sets away from children and contact Wohali for instructions on receiving a pre-paid shipping label to return the pajama sets to Wohali in exchange for a full refund in the form of a Bass Pro gift card. Release Number: (#18-071) Vilo Home Inc., Santa Fe Springs, Calif., is announcing the voluntary recall of about 200 Marseille dining benches. The recall involves Marseille dining benches with four legs. The benches were sold in black and brown with beige linen seat cushions. The benches were made of rubber wood. The bench measures about 52 inches by 18 inches wide. The model number is VH1103 and can be found on the product label on the bottom of the bench. Problem: The foam seat cushion and base can crack in the middle and cause the bench to collapse, posing a fall hazard. What to do: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled benches and contact Vilo Home for a full refund. Release Number: (#18-074) Brompton Bicycle Inc., of Brooklyn, New York, is announcing the voluntary recall of about 8,400 folding Brompton bicycles. This recall involves Folding Brompton bicycles with “Brompton” printed on the bicycle’s frame. Only bicycles with serial numbers 1403284144 to 1705150001 (manufactured from April 2014 through May 2017) are included in the recall. The serial number is printed on a curved plate or sticker, applied to the rear of the seat tube. If the barcode sticker on the bike is faded or rubbed off, submit the six digit frame number stamped into the metal plate behind the bottom bracket and seat tube via email to [email protected] to receive the correlating serial number. Problem: The bicycle’s bottom bracket can break during use, posing a fall hazard. What to do: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bicycles and contact an authorized Brompton dealer for free installation of a new bottom bracket cartridge. Release Number: (#18-712) Land of Nod, of Morton Grove, Ill., is announcing the voluntary recall of about 75 Nook toddler beds. This recall involves The Land of Nod’s Nook toddler beds. The toddler bed has a green and gray headboard with a gray footboard. “The Land of Nod”, “Made in Vietnam” and SKU number “404485” are printed on a label attached to toddler bed headboard and footboard. Problem: The headboard can disconnect from the bed frame and fall onto the bed, posing an entrapment hazard to children. What to do: Consumer should immediately take the recalled toddler bed away from children and contact The Land of Nod for instructions on receiving a full refund.
