This team and league is operated by the Indiana High School Bowling Association. Our team competes at Scottsburg Lanes. On January 24th, we competed in the Columbus Team Sectional. Twelve teams participated in the meet. SHS finished 9th for the day. We bowled four regular games to get our placement for Bakers matches. In a Baker Format game, you and your teammates will bowl toward one score. That is, rather than a typical league format in which you and your teammates each bowl 10 frames and your team score is the sum of each individual score, your entire team will combine to bowl 10 frames in a Baker match. The top four schools had a bowl off for the sectional championships and were able to move on to regionals.
