THE FUNNY BONETHE FUNNY BONETHE FUNNY BONETHE FUNNY BONE After living in the remote swamplands of
Louisiana all his life, An old cajun decided it was time
to visit the big city. Stopping in one of the stores he
picks up a mirror and looks in it. Not ever having seen
one before, he remarked at the image staring back at
him, "How about that! Here's a picture of my daddy."
He bought the mirror thinking it was a picture of his
daddy, but on the way home he remembered his wife
didn't like his father.. So he hung it in the boat shed,
and every morning before leaving to run his traps he
would go there and look at it. His wife began to get
suspicious of these many trips to the boat shed. One
day after her husband left, she searched the shed and
found the mirror. As she looked into the glass, she
fumed,
"So that's the ugly woman he's runnin' around with."

SEPTEMBER – Prayer
We must always pray, and not faint.
~~ Luke 18:1 Try to disengage yourself from so many cares, and
take a little time to think of God and to rest in Him.
Enter into the secret chamber of your heart, and
banish from it everything save your Creator alone
and what can help you to find Him; then having
closed the door, say to Him, with all your soul:
“Lord, I seek Thy Divine countenance ---teach me
to find it!” ~~~St. Augustine
If, while one is praying, he regards and considers
the fact that he is conversing with God with more
attention than the words that he utters, he is making
vocal and mental prayer at once, which may be of
much advantage to him. But if he
does not consider with Whom
he is speaking, nor what he is
saying, it may be thought
certain that, how ever much he
may move his lips, he prays
very little. ~~ St. Teresa
Dear Ladies, WOW!! Where has the summer gone?? The summer is leaving us behind but it’s not taking the heat with it. When will we have nice comfortable days? Who knows the answers to this question, not I? I hope the beginning of the school year has gone well for all, students, parents and teachers. We are already weeks into the school year. Good luck in the months to come. The New Orleans Saints have come back to TV, giving us some-thing to watch and pray for. We all PRAY that they do a repeat of last year; Saints go all the way! The opening game is on September 9th, my daughter’s birthday. What a wonderful present for her if they win! I can not wait for the end of December to find out what’s going to happen, if we are in the play offs. If you are not a NO Saints fan, please pray for the team and fans. As always praying for you and your families,
Ellen Ledet, President 2010 - 2011
