N.J. RETREADS MOTORCYCLE CLUB News and Recap
Members,
This winter season is one for the record books. If I was told I could go riding in the middle of February and it would be 70 degrees, I would have said $%<#!*.
Although over half of our usual ride leaders are in Florida, we have been out on rides throughout the past two months. Thanks to Stan Ware and Sam Beloff for keeping the club rolling on two wheels.
Congratulations to all of you for renewing your 2017 memberships to our club. We exceeded our 2016 goals for new members and less than the usual attrition rate into 2017. Thank You We are able to plan more events and special rides when we have members who get involved and stay involved with club activities. Please tell others about the Retreads. We would like to share our rides, trips and events with the riding community.
A great showing for our first Cook’s Night Lunch. We had 30 Retreads at the Pegasus on Saturday. Good food and company.
Upcoming Events
There will be a special ride and lunch stop to celebrate the 2017 riding season. Tom Murray has graciously volunteered his services to lead a ride into the Amish country. The ride will begin from the Flying J Truck Stop in Carneys Point and continue into Pennsylvania . We will ride to various covered bridges around Lancaster area, followed by a buffet lunch.
DATE: Saturday, May 6th KSU (leave) @ 9:00 AM From the Flying J park lot. Rain Date: May 13th “ Visit us on Facebook.”
Daytona Luncheon
We will have our usual luncheon gathering for our New Jersey Retreads dur-ing Daytona Beach Bike Week. It will be at the loca-tion where it has been for many years.

Thanks South Jersey DEVILer… LETTER TO MY DOGS Dear Dogs, When I say to move, it means go someplace else, not switch positions with each other so there are still two dogs in my way. The dishes with the paw print are yours and con-tain your food. Please note, placing a paw print in the middle of my plate and food does not stake a claim for it becoming your food and dish, nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing in the slightest. The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack. Beating me to the bottom is not the object. Tripping me doesn’t help, I fall faster than you can run ! I cannot buy anything bigger than a king size bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will continue to sleep on the couch to ensure your com-fort. Look at videos of dogs sleeping, they can actually curl into a ball. It really is not neces-sary to sleep perpendicular to each other stretched out to the
….via Cecil Robinson LETTER TO MY DOGS - Continues fullest possible extent. I also know sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out the other end to maximize space, is nothing but doggy sarcasm. My compact discs are not miniature Frisbees ! For the last time, there is not a secret exit from the bathroom. If by some miracle I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, try to turn the knob, or get your paw under the edge and try to get the door open. I must exit through the same door I entered. In addition, I have been using bathrooms for years, canine attendance is not mandatory. The proper order is kiss me, then go smell the other dog’s butt or your own. I cannot stress this enough. It would be such a simple change for you. Sincerely, Your Overwhelmed Owner
