Also this year Camozzi has enlarged its range with solutions that focus on increased
performance and productivity of the applications at its clients, maintaining a constant
quality level and assuring maximum reliability even in very complex conditions.
To this purpose, the Series K valves in the 2/2 version, the Series K8DV with
separating diaphragm, the new Series 8 cartridge valves, the Series AP valves with
proportional technology in the flanged version and revised CP version in the sizes 16
and 20 mm were developed in order to further optimize electric connections. Besides
the products above, we find the new Series TC1-V shut off micro-valve, the VNRC5
unidirectional cartridge valves and the new regulator TC1-R.

Series K8DV
The increasing demand for
miniaturized solenoid valves with
separating diaphragm and the
experience acquired during the
realization of the Series K8 served
to create this new series of models
with total fluid separation.
In fact, the new Series K8DV was
born to meet all the demands to
shut off aggressive or heat sensitive
fluids requested by the latest
technologies. Thanks to a separating
diaphragm, the fluid is isolated
from all internal metal parts of the
solenoid valve and avoids heating,
even if minimum, generated
by the solenoid positioned above.
The material of the diaphragm,
available in FKM, EPDM or FFKM
and the body in PEEK, enable this
solenoid valve to be used in a very
wide range of applications in the
medical, analytical, chemical and
pharmaceutical, biotechnological
and environmental sector.
Available in a cartridge version or
suitable to be mounted on a subbase
and thanks to its reduced dimensions,
it satisfies all installation needs of
portable or laboratory devices.

From the Series K, already included
in our catalogue, a new range
of models has been developed with
only the 2-way NC function
and new flow characteristics.
The range of the orifices available
has been enlarged with diameters
from 0.6 up to 1.4 mm.
To guarantee a perfect integration
with the already existing range,
the same electrical connection
characteristics and the same
footprint were maintained in order to
have the inlet and outlet ports in the
same position of the 3-way models.
This enables to use solenoid valves
with 2-way and 3-way with common
inlets or outlets on the same manifold,
optimizing the processings of the flow
channels to intercept.
All models also have versions that are
suitable to be used with oxygen.
The procedures applied for the cleaning
of components, of assembly and of
packaging, are performed according
to the ASTM G93 standards.

The Series 8 enlarges the range
of models available with the cartridge
valve directly integrated in an
anodized aluminium body comprising
also the pilot solenoid valve.
The new bodies enable to have
pneumatically operated models with
external pilot or electropneumatically
operated models with both external
and internal piloting.
The internal pilot takes the pressure
needed to activate the cartridge
valve directly from the main pressure
line, avoiding further pneumatic
connections. In this case, to guarantee
a correct operation, a minimum
pressure of 3 bar must be present.
In case it is necessary to activate
the cartridge valve with a pressure
less that 3 bar in the main line, it is
necessary to use models with external
piloting, making sure to guarantee
a pressure between 3 and 6 bar.
For the Normally Open function,
a continuous pneumatic piloting
must be guaranteed.
Besides different types of electrical
connections, all models also have
versions that are suitable to be used
with oxygen. The procedures applied
for the cleaning of components,
of assembly and of packaging, are
performed according to the ASTM G93
standards.

The cartridge construction of the
new Series VNR unidirectional valve
can be used in all those applications
and equipment where it is necessary
to include the single component in
personalized integrated pneumatic
circuits (manifolds) or collectors;
The compact design, in fact, allows
to be inserted and screwed in an
appropriate simple seat, in this way
simplifying installations. For its
construction, materials like
STAINLESS STEEL were selected
for the body and EPDM for the
tightenings in order to ensure full
compatibility with the most different
gaseous fluids.

Functioning This valve enables the passage of fluid from port 1 to port 2 and preventsthe flow in the opposite direction. The POPPET tightening elementguarantees two essential characteristics: to have a low minimum operating pressure and a high flow of gaseous fluid with minimum pressure losses.

The new Series TC1-V shut-off
micro-valve combines the drive
mechanism and the interception
mechanism in one single device.
Its principle is based on the actuation
of a poppet by means of an operating
pressure applied above it.
The poppet, once actuated, moves
away from the tightening seal,
permitting the flow of the intercepted
fluid. By removing the actuation
pressure, the poppet repositions itself
on the tightening seal by means of a
spring positioned below that closes
the flow of the fluid.
The new Series TC1-V shut-off micro-
valve has been studied to be used in all
applications and equipment where it is
necessary to insert the component in
integrated and customized pneumatic
circuits (manifolds) or collectors.
The cartridge design and its compact
dimensions enable this shut-off
micro-valve to be inserted in a special
seat that results in an easy installation
and a reduction of assembly times.
For its realization the most suitable
materials for contact with fluids were
selected. The body in PPS and the
FKM tightening seals guarantee full
compatibility with a wide range of
gaseous fluids.

The new Series TC pressure
regulator has been designed to be
used in all those applications and
equipment where it is necessary
to include the single component
in customized integrated pneumatic
circuits (manifolds) or collectors.
The cartridge construction
and the compact design allow
the regulator to be inserted
and screwed in an proper seat,
thus simplifying installations
and reducing assembly times.
For the creation of this new regulator,
materials have been analized and
chosen on the basis of their suitability
with the contact medium.
The body in PPS and the seals in
FKM thus ensure full compatibility
with a wide range of gaseous fluids.
