Nursery Care is provided for little ones to age 4 years. The nursery is located in the hall, through the doors on either side of the choir loft. Paige is our care provider.

Faith In Motion – Ages 5-8 “Hands-on Bible” today ‘Jesus came back to life and went to heaven’. Young people 9-12 explore “Because Jesus defeated death, we can put our faith in him”. Teens dig into “He’s Alive!”

Loaded Potatoes & Yams – oh my! The Stewards would like to thank our congregation and our “non-Stewards” helpers for attending and helping at last Sunday’s lunch. Proceeds to operating account: $432.50.

UCW News: The ladies of the UCW would like to express our appreciation to everyone who so generously supported our fundraising initiative with an

order from the Vesey catalogue. We are very pleased to be able to present our dedicated and hardworking fundraising committee with a cheque in the amount of $897.50. The shipment will arrive in early May and you will be notified when we have packaged up the orders.

Bible Study – We will not be meeting this Wednesday (Apr. 24). We will resume Wednesday, May 1 at 9:30 AM in the hall meeting room for all who have an interest.

Friday, April 26 – the Stewards host Euchre Night in the hall at 7 PM. $5/person includes refreshments. All are welcome.

“Cobwebs & Dusters” – We need more help in May for the vacuuming/dusting/loo duty and someone to take out garbage and recycling on Wednesday evenings for April and May. Please see Moe Schroter or Janet Ward for details. Training provided – free of charge!Please check the kitchen for any crock pots and

dishware you may have left behind following one of our wonderful fellowship gatherings. The Kitchen Germ Buster Team will be clearing off counters to sanitize and the job is much easier when the counter is bare. We will take remaining items to a charity on April 23.  Thanks for your help.’

East Clarington Men's Breakfast will be held on Sat. April 27 at St. Saviour's Anglican Church, Mill St. N. Orono. Start time is 0830- cost $10.   Our Guest Speaker is John McFeeters. This time John will speak on another of his areas of expertise "Antlers".. yes, those things on deer and moose! He will bring some of his collection and will surely tell us some things we did not know.... Please let Myno know by email if you plan to attend so Bill Tomlinson and his crew can have proper numbers to prepare food. This is a smaller venue so please RSVP

Sunday, April 28- Jane’s group Faith In Motion group (9-12s) will lead us in worship and Myno Van Dyke will bring us his message. Coffee Plus follows. We collect for our local food bank.

Friendship Connection – “Spring Luncheon” on Wed., May 1, 11:30 AM Castle John’s, Newcastle. Laurel Bell has placed sign-up sheets in the hall and narthex if you’d like to enjoy friendship and food.

May 5 – the Stewards host “Cinco de Mayo” lunch at Noon. Join us for this fundraiser Mexican lunch! Muy ricas! hombres, seňoras, niňos.
