Diane: Whats wrong, Mara?! You look worried.

Mara: Hey Diana. Im just having some really bad luck today. It just started today in the

morning. I was going to my English class when I saw a black cat crossing the sidewalk

and I thought there was no problem. I went on walking and I saw an accident in the

next avenue. At first believed it was a coincidence.

Diane: And what happened next?

Mara: I continued walking and someone in a ladder was fixing something, but as I was in

a hurry I walked under it. Then I started to have a bad day at school. I neverthought all those superstitions were true.

Diane: Well. I dont think its so bad. We all have bad days sometimes.

Mara: I know, but Im afraid that the cat and the ladder could bring bad luck to my life.

Diane: No, that definitely wont happen. Dont worry, those are just silly superstitions.
