Don't think of it as a chain. Think of it as an intricate

network of suppliers, distributors and customers who

share information. Your business's success depends

on it. Hau Lee - Stanford University professorand director of Stanford's Global SupplyChain Management Forum.

The pace of change quickens. The implications

for the supply chain grow. The impact on UK

business is far reaching:

Speed - both speed to market and through

the supply chain; facilitated by new

technologies such as strategic sourcing,

e-procurement, collaborative development

and design, and process automation. The

growth of the Internet has also increased

expectations of rapid order fulfilment.

Visibility - the ability to manage products

and orders as they move through the supply

chain, providing complete order and product

visibility; especially challenging since

information resides in, and is exchanged

across, a variety of different systems (both

inside and outside an organisation).

The Virtual Supply Chain - gone are the

days of limited, manageable and tangible

supply chains, today the supply chain has no

boundaries, where organisations trade

electronically with their partners and use

increased collaborative techniques for

planning, forecasting and replenishment.

Added Value - in the future supply chain

effectiveness will be measured by how well it

adds value to its customers and trading

partners at each stage of the process; this will

cause a shift away from infrequent strategic

planning to the use of responsive tools that

allow strategic and tactical decisions to be

made on an ongoing basis.

Business Drivers

Improve customer service.

Increase inventory turnover.

Streamline production.

Lower manufacturing cycles and costs.

Improve on-time customer delivery.

Re-engineer the supply chain to meet

e-commerce requirements.

To compete in this environment, companies

are having to:

Make major business improvements with

manageable investment.

Identify IT solutions that allow them to

leverage their prior investments whilst

addressing ever more critical customer

demands.

Achieve rapid return on any IT investment.

Find a trusted supplier capable of

managing and sustaining a long-term

partnership.

and within budget.

Partnering with leading global software

vendors to future-proof your investments.

Our proven methodology guarantees the

success of the project at each step of the way,

and is divided into 6 distinct stages:

1. Business Process Analysis

Our consultants use their considerable business

experience to help you develop a strategic view

of your long-term business objectives, to ensure

that you will continue to receive optimum

performance from your systems and the people

who use them. Based on our industry background

and business know-how we are able to evaluate

your current working practices, objectives and

potential future requirements to help ensure that

the proposed solution will meet your business

requirements, now and in the future.

2. Solution Specification

We work closely with you to determine how best

to integrate the proposed solutions with your

unique working practices. We provide detailed

descriptions of the most appropriate software

and hardware solution to meet the agreed

requirements that have been documented during

the Business Process Analysis phase. Our strategic

approach helps you select the right systems and

services to suit your needs.

3. Proof of Concept

We provide a detailed demonstration that

highlights the business benefits of the proposed

solution, and illustrates how the functionality and

performance of the solution meets your

requirements. This is accompanied by a detailed

quotation that covers all aspects of the proposed

solution.

software needs careful management

throughout the project - from initial

requirements specification through to ongoing

support, so that the anticipated benefits are

actually realised, and a real return on your

investment is achieved.

We have developed a range of services that,

when implemented, ensure that your systems

are operational as quickly and cost effectively

as possible, and that they continue to run

smoothly as your business grows and changes.

5. Training

Training is essential to ensure that the planned

business benefits resulting from the investment

are realised. We deliver the skills and expertise

that you need to extract the maximum benefit

from your systems. A hands-on approach means

that we can deliver the most relevant training to

meet the needs of your organisation and the

individuals within it. Training can be undertaken

at all levels from introductory to advanced and

courses can be tailored to suit a particular

organisation or project. The emphasis is on

practical exercises to ensure a full working

knowledge of the solution.

6. Ongoing Support

An Annual Support Contract addresses any issues

that occur on an ongoing basis in a prompt and

professional manner, with a proven escalation

procedure in place. Under the terms of our

Support Contract all clients have unlimited direct

access to our Support Services Department. The

Support Services Department ensures that all

clients are kept up to date with logged issues,

resolved queries and any outstanding calls.

4. Project Management and Implementation

Our project managers have broad experience of

working with clients to help them initiate and

plan projects right from the start. At all stages

you know what will be delivered and are kept

informed of progress. This ensures that the

project goals are successfully met to schedule and

within budget.

A series of Project Management meetings are

held at key milestones during the project and

these generate:-

Formal signature of the Project Plan.

Supporting project documentation.

Configuration Management (as required).

Project Change Documentation to your

requirements.

Project Administration and Finalisation.

Key implementation services include:

A fast track installation team delivering smaller

installations within shorter time-frames.

Facilities management during implementation

for those clients without the benefit of a

dedicated IT team or where resourcing is an

issue.

Technical trouble-shooting.

Data conversion.
