THE MOSKVA RIVER

The Moskva River is the river that flows through the Moscow and Smolensk Regions in the Russian Federation.

THE KREMLIN

The Kremlin is the historical, spiritual and political heart Of Moscow and the city's most famous sight. The complex serves as the official residence of the President of Russia.

RED SQUARE

Red Square is a heart of Moscow. For many centuries Red Square has served as the place for important historical events. It was founded at the end of the15th century.

THE SPASSKAYA TOWER

The main tower of the Kremlin with chimes on it. It was built in 1491 by an Italian architect Pietro Antonio Solari.

Tsar CannonTsar Bell

The Tsar Bell stands on a large pedestal in the Kremlin not far from the Ivan the Great Bell Tower. This is the largest bell in the world, weighing almost 202 tons and standing more than 6 metres high and 6.6 metres across.

Weight of Tsar-Cannon is 40 tons, length 5.34m and the caliber 890mm which was the largest for its time.

The Armoury Museum

Armoury Museum is oldest museum in Russia. It is housed in a building between the Great Kremlin Palace and the Kremlin wall, was designed by Konstantin A. Thon, and was built between 1844 and 1851.Arms and armour include the armour of Boris Godunov and the jewel-encrusted helmet of Tsar Michael. Among the examples of enamel work, icons, and jewelry are some famous works of the Russian goldsmith Peter Fabergé.

St. Basil’s Cathedralor the Pokrovsky Cathedral

Both are official names used by the Russian Orthodox Church. St. Basil's Cathedral is one of the most outstanding monuments of Old Russian architecture.

Arbat is one of the oldest streets in Moscow. Arbat street attracts large numbers of tourists. Almost everyone who comes to Moscow, want to visit the pedestrian street. The Arbat is mentioned for the first time 500 years ago.
