Its people have made a significant impact throughout the world in trade,colonization, religion, literature, art, & industry. No amount of time here ever seems enough to experience it all.

DAY 1 Thursday, 02 April 2020Relax and enjoy our scheduled flight from Atlanta to London-Heathrow, England

DAY 2 Friday, 03 April 2020Our 24-hour Tour Director will meet us at the airport and remain with us until our final airportdeparture.Our private coach will be waiting to transfer us to our hotel in London.For the next six evenings we will enjoy the convenience of our centrally-located London hotel,where daily breakfast will be included.London is the largest city in Europe: quite a feat, considering its location on a relatively smallisland. London's location is perfect for an administrative, communications and trade center,as the Romans realized when they founded their city in AD 43. London is filled with countlesshistoric and cultural treasures that meld seamlessly in this exciting, contemporary city.In London, the cost of public transport is included for all group sightseeing. Escorted by ourTour Director, we will be able to experience the city in the same manner as the local people.Each night while on tour, we will be provided with funds (10 GBP) by our Tour Director fordinner tonight.

DAY 3 Saturday, 04 April 2020During our time in London we will explore the areas of Westminster and Whitehall, includingTrafalgar Square, Whitehall, Horse Guards Parade, Parliament Square, Downing Street, St.James's Park and Buckingham Palace.Stop at Buckingham Palace to view the fascinating Changing of the Guard ceremony. Twohallmarks of English culture are the monarchy and a marked degree of pomp andcircumstance. Today, we will see both as we witness the daily changing of the guard in frontof Buckingham Palace (subject to Guard schedule).LEAP: On With The Show!Theatre students will put your drama skills to the test and meet the actors of a theater inLondon's West End. Learn about and explore the core themes of a play, before acting out ascene on your own. Afterwards, it's on with the show as you join the audience for anenjoyable performance.Or Dance students will take part in a specialist dance workshop with esteemed faculty fromthe Royal Academy of Dance or Pineapple Studios. DAY 3 Saturday, 04 April 2020Or for the Choral participants, the AIM Experience is an exclusive opportunity for yourperformers to attend a professional and customized master class conducted by one of ourrenowned collegiate-level clinicians. These private classes take place at a university andallow you to tailor your experience to polish a specific repertoire, have your clinician exploreone or two specific skills or just give the clinician carte blanche to focus on what they choose!

DAY 4 Sunday, 05 April 2020Explore the British Museum, one of the most comprehensive collections of art and artifacts inthe world. Highlights of our visit will include the Rosetta Stone, the discovery of which led tothe deciphering of hieroglyphs; the Elgin Marbles from the Parthenon in Athens; and theSutton Hoo Treasure.Enjoy a Walking Tour of Carnaby and Regent Streets. Take some free time to explore andshop.

DAY 5 Monday, 06 April 2020Choir students will explore The Musical Museum at Kew Bridge, containing one of the world'sforemost collections of selfplaying musical instruments. From the tiniest of clockwork musicboxes to the Mighty Wurlitzer, the collection embraces an impressive and comprehensivearray of sophisticated reproducing pianos, orchestrions, orchestrelles, residence organs, andviolin players.Theatre students will visit and take a tour of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and Museum,housed in a reconstruction of the original theater that closed in 1642 and dedicated to theexperience and international understanding of Shakespeare in performance. The museumexplores the costumes, special effects, music, and printing and publishing process during theShakespearean era.While Dance students will visit the White Lodge Museum, where we will learn about the dailylife of The Royal Ballet School, the history and development of Classical ballet, and the storyof White Lodge itself.Attend a West End Theatre Performance, such as The MouseTrap. (Exact play subject tofinal confirmation within 2 months of travel.

DAY 6 Tuesday, 07 April 2020A private coach and driver will accompany us today on our trip outside the city.Situated on the banks of the Avon River, Stratford-upon-Avon is one of England’s mostbeloved towns. Its history dates back to the Roman period, but its current appearance is as acharming Georgian and Tudor Revival market town that eagerly embraces the era of its mostimportant former resident, William Shakespeare.Time permitting, we will go on an introductory walking tour of the city.Visit Shakespeare’s Birthplace, a half-timbered house preserved to reflect family life in the16th century. The birthplace also contains a museum dedicated to the bard’s life. The modernShakespeare Centre was built next door to commemorate the 400th anniversary of theBard's birth. Next we will visit Anne Hathaway’s Cottage. The cottage provides a rare insightinto the life of a family in Shakespearean times, and many of the original furnishings arepreserved inside the house. We return to London this afternoon.

DAY 7 Wednesday, 08 April 2020Enjoy a Walking Tour of Southwark, once the Elizabethan theater district and home ofShakespeare’s original Globe Theater.Enjoy a National Theater Backstage Tour. Situated on the South Bank, the theater was at theheart of a 200 year national debate before finally opening its doors in 1976. Everything fromclassical plays to modern scripts can be seen in each of its three theaters: the Olivier, theLyttleton and the Cottesloe.Attend a Theater Performance at the National Theater.

DAY 8 Thursday, 09 April 2020Our rewarding and enjoyable tour comes to an end as our Tour Director accompanies us tothe airport on our final day.Please note that the sightseeing content may be amended or eliminated in order to facilitatethe best possible concert arrangements for your group.
