LED Lenser’s design team in Germany took their best-selling H7 headlamp and set themselves a challenge – to make it even better. The result is the new H7.2 and H7R. 2, incredible headlamps that blow their predecessors out of the water.

H7.2 & H7R.2

NEW LED CHIP

The H7.2 and H7R.2 feature LED Lenser’s NEW High End Power LED Chips,

which are substantially improved compared to the previous LED Chips.

NEWLY CALCULATED LENS

The reflector lens of the Advanced Focus System® has been enlarged and

especially adapted to fit the new LED-Chip. The beam is focussed by

rotating the head of the lamp.

The H7.2 and H7R.2 have 3 different light programs, which you choose using the multi-function wheel switch. You then use the lighting unit

switch to click between the

different functions in that

program.

2 additional light functions (boost and dim) are controlled separately

(as explained below)

LIGHTING UNIT SWITCH MULTI FUNCTION WHEEL SWITCH

Already found on many LED Lenser models, the new H7.2 and H7R.2 now feature Smart Light Technology (SLT), which enables you to switch between 3 light programmes and offers 5 different light functions (100% light, 15% light, signal, dim, boost).

The SLT functions are controlled by both the lighting unit switch (on/off button) and the multi-function wheel switch.

LIGHT PROGRAMS

LIGHTING UNIT SWITCH

Controls:

Boost function – no matter what program you are in,

simply hold down the lighting unit switch for 5 seconds

when the light is on to get the maximum amount of

light available.

Transport Lock – means the light can’t be switched on

by accident. To engage/disengage transport lock, hold

down the lighting unit switch for 5 seconds when the

light is off.

MULTI FUNCTION WHEEL SWITCH

Controls:

Dim function – you can adjust the light intensity of low

power, high power and boost functions (as far down as 5

lumens) by turning the wheel.

The flashing rate of signal function (blink to strobe) can

be adjusted by turning the wheel

Switch between light programs (Easy Low, Easy Power,

Signal) – Press and hold for 5 seconds to change light

program – the light will blink once, twice or three times

to indicate which mode you are in.

H7R.2 only

Rear light—option of a red light or a blinking red light. Click the button on the wheel once for on, click again quickly for blink

Charging indicator—wheel switch LED glows red while charging, green when fully charged

Battery indicator—when lamp first turned on, wheel switch LED glows for 5 seconds to show battery level (illustrated left)

Switch between 2 energy modes—energy savings (ES) or constant current (CC). Click on the wheel switch 8 times and then hold down on the 8th click to change modes. If the light comes on and then goes out suddenly you are in CC mode; if it fades away you are in ES mode.

ON/OFF SWITCH

The button is now larger and made of rubber, making it easier to op-erate while wearing gloves.

TILT MECHANISM The tilt mechanism has been revised and is now even more durable. It holds firmly in place once the head-lamp is on your head.

HIGHLY FLEXIBLE CABLING The cabling of the H7.2 and H7R.2 has been completely re-designed. Areas exposed to a lot of strain are now a lot tougher and more flexible due to higher quality materials and design.
