Fall 2021 Instructional Delivery
In response to COVID-19, Fall 2021 Instructional Delivery will remain in mostly ONLINE and LIVE ONLINE formats, with some HYBRID, HYBRID-VIRTUAL, and IN PERSON offerings.
Scheduling will continue to evolve and adapt in response to local, state, and federal guidelines, in addition to recommendations provided by MCCCD and other reputable authorities.
ONLINEAll of your assignments and work will be internet based without set meeting days or times to attend.
You will interact with faculty through Canvas via email, video, and threaded discussions.
A lot of your work will be self-paced, but there are established deadlines and expectations.
LIVE ONLINEClasses will meet synchronously (real-time) at the time listed in the class schedule on a virtual platform. (ex: Zoom, WebEx, Google Meet)
Use Canvas to access course information, including how to access the virtual platform of the course, the course syllabus, learning materials, and to complete all activities and requirements of the course.
HYBRIDPart of the class will be held online without a set time to attend.
The other part will occur in an in-person format on campus on the days and times listed in the class schedule.
With health and safety in mind, class sizes will be limited, face coverings will be required, and classrooms will be sanitized throughout the day.
Primarily for Lab Science, Physical Education, and Occupational classes.
HYBRID/VIRTUAL
Part of the class will be held online without a set time to attend.
The other part will occur at the time listed in the class schedule in a virtual format using a virtual platform.
IN PERSONClass meeting days and times will be listed in the schedule and will be held on campus.
