The San Jose Earthquakes were born in 1974 and immediately became a part of the fabric of the local community. For the past four decades the team has thrilled sellout crowds, brought home championships to the city and established itself as a true leader in community service.

Along the way the team has made San Jose one of the top soccer destinations in the United States. World soccer stars like George Best and Landon Donovan, along with homegrown Bay Area talent like John Doyle and Chris Wondolowski, have donned the Quakes jersey.
