Annuals, perennials, old roses, garden art, beautiful fountains and so much more Guest services Security – Lost and Found Report lost children to any uniformed staff member. Lost and found is located at the Zoo entrance. First Aid Report emergencies to any uniformed staff member. Proceed to the main Zoo entrance for minor injuries. Handicapped Visitors, Wheelchair and Stroller Rentals The park is handicapped accessible except for the upper portion of the Woodlands Walk. Trams are wheelchair and stroller accessible. Wheelchair and stroller rentals are available at the Zoo and Garden entrance. Tram Tram stops are located beside Kenya Cafe and in front of the Garden Visitors Center. Children must be accompanied by an adult to ride. Groups Group discounts are available for groups of 15 or more. Reservations are required 2 weeks prior to your visit. Facilities are also available for private rental. Buy your tickets online at www.riverbanks.org. Picnic Facilities Picnic facilities are provided outside the park at the west end of the Zoo parking lot – limited access. sALUDA FacTORY INTERPRETIVE cENTER In order to convey the historic significance of the Saluda River Factory, an interpretive center was built adjacent to the mill site in 1999. history at riverbanks Listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1973, Riverbanks’ 170-acre site has a deep-rooted history dating back to the early 1800s with South Carolina’s textile industry and the Civil War. Today visitors can view structural remains that reveal this rich past from several vantage points within the park. park manners Riverbanks does not allow food, drinks, coolers or skates inside the park.
