Agora Learning Partnership (ALP) Trust

• The School is part of the Agora Learning Partnership (ALP) • This consists of 9 schools in HerPordshire • In ancient Greece, the word ‘Agora’ was used to describe a public

open space used for assemblies and markets; Agora - a place where people could be together.

• On the basis that the Trust is called the ‘Agora’, and this has been combined with the words ‘learning’ and ‘partnership’, it is clear the bringing together of people to work collabora=vely in order to improve school standards is at the heart of the Partnership’s work.

Other matters… • Nappies - we are not here to potty train your child!

This wastes a lot of learning time. • Please let us know if someone different is collecting

your child! • Please name ALL items of clothing - very very

important!! • Sickness or diarrhoea - 48 hours from the last time

of incident. • Allergies, dietary requirements and medication.


• Children star=ng in September 2021 can aFend school for a transi=on session on Thursday 8th July at 9.30am - 10.30am (To Be Confirmed - subject to the latest restric?ons)

• This session will allow your child to see the learning environment they will be in from September, meet their new friends and the staff who will look afer them.

• There will be a ‘Meet n Greet’ session at the beginning of the new term in September, you will receive further informa=on about this before the summer break.

Class Introduction


• Please do complete the required paperwork and return to the school ASAP.

• Send into school (scanned images are fine) your child’s ‘birth certificate’ and 2 forms of proof of home address eg home ‘utility bill’
