Geneva Hays Sansbury, 83, Advance, N.C., died Jan. 7, 2012, after a long bat- tle with Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinsons. Sansbury was born on Sept. 22, 1928, in Lebanon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman Pryor “Pete” and Edna Myers Hays. Survivors include a daughter, Edna Lynn Sansbury McMahan, Advance, N.C; and a sister, Ethel Pryor Hays Hamilton, Bardstown. A memorial service was Saturday at Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon.
