Since AUST’06; SVPC AUTOMOTIVE PVT LIMITED; CHENNAI;ENGINEER – PRODUCTION PLANNING AND CONTROL

The Company was established in 1982 at Chennai and expands its manufacturing locations in PONDYCHEERY. The company manufactures the sheet Metal forming, riveted, electrical breaker, pole main switch assembly (low, medium and heavy voltage).

Reporting and responsibility: Reporting to Factory manager.

Preparation of Material and Production Schedule. Preparation of BOM. Preparing and Issue the material Plan to the suppliers. Capacity planning once in 3 months based on the sourcing plan. Supply Coordination Preparation of operator and machine utilization. Develop a system to ensure the material handling.

Preparing the Daily, weekly and monthly Plan. Conducting the Daily Performance Meeting. Implemented the Lean concepts like VSM, OCC, Takt time

Achievements: Reduced the inventory level from 15 days to 5 days thereby by introducing the Kanban. Practiced the 5s in the RM and FG Stores. Implemented the TPS Concept in the Planning System. Consistently maintain the 100% Schedule adherence index.

MM Forgings Limited is one of the leading forging industries in south India over 40 years of experience in Metal Forming Process. MM Forgings serves major vehicle and automotive components manufactures and process Industries both in Domestic and Overseas. It is a QS 9000, ISO 9001:2000 certified company. The range of Materials handled include Carbon steels, Alloy steels and Stainless steels. The supplies are made in both forgedAnd pre-machined conditions. Reporting and Responsibility: Reporting to Assistant General Manager – Production

Executing the daily and Weekly Plan. Handling the shift Production Manpower allocation. Interacting with the inter departments to ensure the availability of resources for

production. Practiced the 5s activities in the Forge shop. Played a Team leader for the 1000T Sharing pneumatic Press for implementing the TPM. Involved in the erection of 2500T and 4000T Press. Handled the Shop floor from material receiving to Dispatch activities. Preparation for FMEA, Poka-Yoke and 7QC tools techniques in the Production process.

Achievements: Process improvement by introducing the Thermocouple and inferred sensor in the IBH to

avoid The overheat material and under heat.

Increased the production of Adapter brake by 10%.by conveyer to job handling.Training:

Undergone TPM training in Chennai conducted by TPM Club of India. Undergone 5s training in Productive council

Academic Qualifications- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical division with first class (79%) from Madras - University during 2001-2004.- Diploma in Mechanical division first class with honors (93%) from Anna - University (DOE) during 1997-2000.- Diploma in AutoCAD at Cad Computer Centre during April 2003 to October 2003.
