  • New Members & Supporters

As we start our 2018-2019 year, we are incredibly fortunate to

have a talented and passionate group of dietetics leaders on

our IAAND Board of Directors and Leadership team for this

    coming year!

Of the nine Board of Directors (BOD) members, seven of them

are continuing from last year. We are welcoming Mary Easaw

from Malaysia, as our new Professional Development Chair,

and Camella Rising (a former president) as the

Nominating/Awards Committee Chair. Other BOD members

have either transitioned into new roles or are completing their

    two year term.

We are also welcoming three new Leadership Team

members. Ariana Haidari and Maria Pontes Ferreira, the two

newsletter co-editors, and Varsha Tavardy, Scientific

Committee/Conference Chair, will be joining the other nine

    Leadership Team members.

The full list of 2018-2019 Board of Directors and Leadership

Team members is on our IAAND website.

We are truly poised to have a great year! Our focus will be on

continuation and expansion of high quality member focused

programs and services for you this year. From last years’

member needs assessment, we know that you really value the

E-news and Passport, the professional development webinars,

opportunity for leadership experiences, and networking with

    other IAAND members.

I am always amazed and impressed by the enthusiasm and

accomplishments of IAAND members. I am really looking

forward to the 2018 – 2019 year and getting to know as many

of our IAAND members/supporters as possible during my year

    as President!

    Volunteers needed!

IAAND is looking for volunteers as committee members in
