New Leaders take charge at Carmel BHEL - Investiture 2020 - 21!

Facing all odds, Carmel Convent Sr. Secondary School BHEL held the Investiture ceremony

on 30thSeptember 2020, for the senior Secondary School Cabinet 2020 - 21. The event was

streamed live on the School’s YouTube channel - Spandan CMC.

The ceremony commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp and a song of prayer to

Almighty invoking His presence and blessings.

Mr. Ashutosh Shukla – Assistant Editor, Times of India was the Hon’ble Chief guest on this occasion of democracy. Accompanied by Sr. Pavithra - School Principal, Sr. Diana – Local Manager and Sr. Aneja –

Vice Principal, the school flag was unfurled by the Chief Guest.

Sr. Pavithra extended an inspiring warm welcome,impressing upon the importance of

leadership and stressing on the qualities a true leader must possess – Kindness, prudence

and gentleness along with wisdom and humility.

The elected school captain – Ms. Sonia Maria Joseph, smartly marched up on stage to take

her oath and accept her new responsibility followed by the elected Vice- captain – Ms.

Shishti Yati and Ms. Anshika Singh Jadon.

The elected Captains and Vice Captains of the four school houses - Ruby, Topaz, Sapphire

and Emerald then took their oaths followed by the school prefects and all the other cabinet

ministers for various portfolios.

A celebratory dance performance was staged as the dancers swayed gracefully.

The elected student leaders of the school officially assumed their various charges post the

Oath taking Ceremony which ended with a vote of thanks by the school captain followed by

the National Anthem.
