• Over $44 billion to GDP in 2019, 7.9 percent of all output
• Added 231,700 new jobs since 1990
• Only industry that has added jobs every year since 1990
• Projected to add 64,860 jobs through 2028
• $29.8 billion in total wages, 12.7 percent of all wages paid
