With nearly 50 exhibitors participating, this FREE day of games, tours and demonstrations is designed to encourage and increase conservation while exciting your curiosity about the coastal world thriving at the Jersey shore. Interact with marine scientists, researchers and environmentalists and learn how to protect our natural resources. Wade into shallow water and take a seining lesson, climb aboard a research vessel or cheer on your favorite crustacean at our popular fiddler crab races. Enjoy hands-on exhibits, nature tours, coastal crafts, a scavenger hunt, face painting and much more!

Need to Restore Natural Gas Service to a Summer Property? As winter bids us farewell, you’re probably looking forward to all the fun and warmer temperatures of Memorial Day weekend. If you’re headed to a summer property to open the windows and let in the spring air make restoring your natural gas service part of your to-do list!

Contact us at least 10 business days in advance of when you’d like your service turned on. NJNG receives many seasonal requests and we schedule appointments in the order they are received.

For online access to scheduling, visit njng.com, login (or register) at My Account and click on the “Stop, Start Service” tab. You can also give us a call at 800-221-0051, and when prompted say start service.

Our annual Conserve to Preserve Kids and Conservation poster and video contests are designed to inspire students to take an active role in conservation and share how they protect the environment.
