merger attachment from New Hollandallows you to place two windrowsside by side, increasing forage cropvolume for today’s high-capacityforage harvesters. In-cab adjustmentsfor merger belt speed and the deflec-tor position let you effortlessly placethe windrows exactly the way theforage harvester operator wants, tooptimize harvester productivity.Lowering and lifting the merger isalso handled from the cab. Whenfully lowered, the merger rides only afew inches above the ground to catchall the crop. If a field obstruction isencountered, the robust design allowsthe merger to float up and over, then

automatically return to its originaloperating position, without operatorassistance. It’s also easy to switchbetween single windrows and mergingwindrows. When windrow mergingis not required, the merger tucks uptight and out of the way under thewindrower frame with industry-lead-ing clearance, eliminating the chanceof catching a windrow while crossinguneven terrain or other windrowson headlands. An endless merger belttakes the worry out of belt mainte-nance. A V-guide on the inside of thebelt ensures the belt will track evenlyno matter how heavily it’s loaded.

New 750HD Specialty disc headerThe new 750HD Specialty head for the H8060 and H8080

windrowers provides the latest in specialty crop productivity,while handling delicate crops with kid gloves. This head featuresthe MowMax™ cutterbar with a 15’5” cutting width, and is specificallydesigned to cut cleanly, make consistent, evenly formed windrows,minimize seed loss, and deliver significantly more throughput capacitythan sickle heads. The curtain push bar allows the head to gently engage tallcrops, minimizing seed loss. If not needed, the curtain can be quickly stored out ofthe way on the head without restricting operator visibility. The crop is cut with the adjustable disc speed, MowMax cutterbar, then gently,but positively moved to the center discharge opening by the specially designed, floating auger. The crop discharge opening can be set at60 or 83 inches to tailor windrow width to your needs. For specific crop conditions, a special curtain can be installed above the cutterbarin seconds, and without tools, to keep the crop flowing smoothly.
