BETTER! As previously announced in Dealer Marketing Letter, U.S. No. 448 and Canada No. 401 the legendary performance of the MowMax™ cutterbar is backed with a full 36-months of factory warranty. Now, this best in the business coverage has been expanded with specific policy language to include:

MowMax and MowMax II series disc cutterbars spacer sections

MowMax disc cutterbar assembly tie-bolts and pivoting arm mounts

MowMax II series disc cutterbar end caps. This expanded coverage is retroactive to retails from January 1, 2016 for the following series models:

H6000 series mounted and trailed disc mowers

Discbine® side-pull and center-pivot disc mower-conditioners

Durabine® disc heads for Speedrower® self-propelled windrowers This expanded factory coverage provides New Holland dealers with a clearly defined warranty policy, further streamlining the warranty process, and provides New Holland owners additional peace-of-mind. ShockPROTM Disc Drive Hub Advantage:ShockPROTM disc drive hubs are designed to fail upon impact before internal module damage happens. When a disc encounters an obstruction the partially splined hub is designed to shear, protecting the cutterbar drive. The shearing action is external of the module oil sump with no risk of contamination.

ShockPRO hubs retain the disc after failure and can be replaced quickly, with minimal downtime.The unique ShockPRO hub design incorporates a fully-splined washer, spring washer, and a flat washer, held by a specifically torqued bolt to ensure a positive drive. Like a slip clutch, the torqued washer stack supplements the weakened splined disc drive. When the partial splines shear, the washer stack keeps everything firmly fitted to prevent damage to adjacent discs, affording the operator time to stop and replace the single, damaged hub.

MowMax Extended Cutterbar Warranty:• An additional two-year, unlimited hour, extended factory disc cutterbar warranty provides a total 36-months of coverage against defects in materials and workmanship.• The Mow Max extended cutterbar warranty provides dealer reimbursement for both genuine New Holland parts and labor for covered components during the standard and extended warranty periods.• Warranty repairs must be completed by an authorized New Holland Agriculture Equipment dealer in accordance with all published New Holland warranty guidelines and procedures.

Included Components:• The entire cutterbar from the first disc flange specifically including individual sealed drive modules, top cap assemblies, individual gears, bearings, shims, washers, breather plugs, interconnecting module drive shafts, individual module spacers, module tie-bolts, cutterbar end caps, and pivoting arm cutterbar mounts. Sealed modules are even warranted against external oil leakage.

Excluded Components:• ShockPROTM disc drive protection hubs. All common wearing parts such as knives, knife bolt shields, knife attaching hardware, discs, disc caps, crop lifters, rock guards, and skid shoes.

MowMaxTM True Modular Disc Cutterbars

Today many manufacturers claim a modular cutterbar system. What makes New Holland’s MowMax disc cutter-bar different?

The MowMax cutterbar design features sealed gearboxes to provide an independent oil sump for every disc drive. Others may claim a modular system, but they retain a common oil sump. With these designs, damage to a disc drive can result in damage to adjacent gears and bearings.
