2010 photo and video shoot – structures, textures and conceptual images

A collection of 735 new photos and 175 new film clips, exclusively for Siemens: Structures, textures and conceptual images focusing on sustainability and nature as well as urban environments and technology.

The series of images was shot during the summer of 2010. Taken at a number of Siemens locations in the U.S., Norway, Austria and Germany, these photographs capture a wide variety of impressions. They are intended as a complement to previous photo projects, and the conceptual emphasis this time is on visual details.

For the first time, we have now also provided video clips of various lengths in addition to our photographic images. These sequences are suitable for a range of purposes, including use as complementary and associative visual material in more complex film projects. They are also intended as a source of ideas and inspiration for different shooting perspectives, styles and rhythms.

To provide a better overview and help you to select film clips to use, we have summarized them here in this document in the form of storyboards. The photos are covered separately in a second document in the same format, titled Picture Book 3.

Both of these documents are available in /brandville. Previous collections of photos – Picture Books 1 and 2, with a total of 1,800 images – are also still available on the website.
