• Why? Many providers feel that they are best suited to choose the correct template for an encounter

Capture Vital Signs From the Main Screen

Enter Vital Signs Data

New Vital SignsAvailable in the Patient Chart

Open a New Encounter

Choose Encounter Type

Open the EncounterDouble Click on Your Template

Enter Vital Signs Set Cursor to Preferred Location to Enter Vital Signs

Select Vital SignsClick the Drop Down Arrow to Select

Vital Signs History Appears

Choose a Set of Vital Signs or Select “+Add” to Add Vital Signs on the Fly

Pull in Collected Vitals Vitals Collected Outside the Encounter are Documented in the Encounter
