Earthship Biotecture announces a new project in Indonesia New exclusive Eco-project to be launched in Indonesia by Michael Reynolds 5th September 2016: Earthship Biotecture, an international organization specialized in building self- sustainable houses called “Earthships”, announces its latest project: The development of an Island in Indonesia. The latest project of the company is to settle on a virgin island. Indonesia is one of the most polluted countries on Earth, according to the World Health Organisation. We have been given the task to create a carbon footprint free form of development. Therefore, we will apply all the principles learned from forty-five years of Eco construction experience, to fulfil this challenge. We have a jewel island in Indonesia, it is almost sacred ground for us, and we will approach it that way. We will start by dealing with the primary human needs… comfortable shelter, fresh water, clean energy, natural human waste disposal, food and slowly achieve the first Eco Region of Indonesia. We will show an exemplary model of how life could be on this planet. We will be creating a new type of living on this island. We are looking for adventurous souls who are inspired to create something new and learning sustainable techniques of living with Michael Reynolds and his team. We will accept 45 trainees for the first pilot build, happening in November 2016. We will then have several Earthship academy sessions next year, welcoming students from all over the World. The latest project of the company is to settle on a virgin island. Indonesia is one of the most polluted countries on Earth, according to the World Health Organisation. We have been given the task to create a carbon footprint free form of development. Therefore, we will apply all the principles learned from forty-five years of Eco construction experience,

to fulfil this challenge. We have a jewel island in Indonesia, it is almost sacred ground for us, and we will approach it that way. About Michael Reynolds:

Ever since the first screening of the film Garbage Warrior in 2007, Michael Reynolds has been

internationally recognized and acclaimed as leader and pioneer of self-sustainable building designs. For 45 years, he has worked on perfecting the art of “radically sustainable living” and designing “Earthships”, the only off-grid and completely self-sustainable buildings in the world today that present all the comforts of conventional homes and more. A true visionary, Michael Reynolds believes that in an age of ecological instability and impending natural disaster, his buildings can - and will - change the way we live.

About Earthship Biotecture: Earthship Biotecture is a global organization that has been building self-sustainable houses all over the world for the last 45 years with the aim of providing structural and reliable shelter to every inhabitant on planet Earth.
