was Mr. Burdette Higgins.

2007 The hotel is operated by DNE -Dirección Nacional de Estupefacientes

The operators did not meet the requirement of the fourth bidding

process . The condition was: USD $ 20 million for 30 years.

The DNE officially delivers all the hotel management to FONTUR and

at the end of 2013 and beginning of 2014 the bidding process started

with 22 firms that are interested in the hotel

Barranquilla’s mayor Ring Road, avoiding trucks enter the city

• The route will go from The Pumarejo Bridge where will the second driveway behind the free

trade zone of barranquillita, until 46 avenue, it will arrive to via 40.

produce ceramic from their plant in Barranquilla, in order to attend the demand

of the national and international markets, from countries such as the United

custormers, and make technical support in the telecommunications sector in

AB MARINE GROUP is a manufacturing company of luxurious boats for the

leisure, commercial, military and OEM markets. They are located at the

Barranquilla’s Free trade Zone, and attend external markets such as Venezuela

and Italy.

Sutherland Global Services is an Indian company. HQ located in Rochester (New

York). The company is specialized on delivering BPO services to customers

located in the US. Sutherland has an operation of 1,200 people, out of which

50% are fully bilingual. The companies served from Barranquilla are part of the

Fortune 100.

Spanish multinational that opened new operation in Barranquilla, in order to

deliver customer service to one of Colombia’s largest telecomunications

companies. Avanza has a total of 80 jobs, and the company has a projection of a

Adapting is a company sector IT'S Spanish origin, specializing in the development of

document management solutions. The opening of an office in Barranquilla (Colombia) is a

consequence of two factors: the need to reduce costs in the production of software, and the

search for new markets in Latin America.

Tecniamsa It is a Colombian Chamber Group company specializing in safety and

environmental care in the treatment of special biomedical and industrial waste produced in

process 1,000 kilograms of hazardous waste per hour, and a safety cell that can store over
