Leadership and Management ILM Level 3

Are you a Leader?

Managers tell their people what to do, with little room for anyone else’s opinion

and a ‘my way or the highway’ approach. Leaders coach their people through

shared vision. They inspire, they invite debate, they are prepared to be

challenged and most importantly are capable of being influenced as well as

influencing. They find no shame in acknowledging a better way of doing

something.

This country has a shortage of strong and effective leaders and the Governmenthas recognized this. It has introduced support schemes through LMAS and you

could be eligible for the funding if you apply now.

To meet the criteria, you need to be the head of an organization and have 5

staff or volunteers that you are responsible for managing.

Aimed at Community and Small Business leaders, this course is a fast paced, full

on and not for the faint hearted. It develops the leader in the Individuals;

taking an inside out approach to transform themselves and their businesses.

Inspired by Covey’s infamous “7 Habits to Effective Leadership”, this course

covers principles, missioning, values, marketing and finance.

How will you be assessed? There are 2 assignments. One written and one reflective journal with a presentation.

Course dates : 24th Feb, 2nd, 9th and 16th March (+ 4 x1 hour

business performance coaching sessions) (30 GLH)

Location: at Saint Alban's Road Smethwick, West Midlands B67 7NL

Times: 10AM - 4PMCourse investment cost £695 excl vat (unaccredited / min.5 learners)

( Level 3 ILM registration and exam fees £95)
