Bhd is an international minerals and metals trading company that commenced operations in October 18, 2005 and eventually carved a niche as one of the leading equipment and abrasives supplier in the South East Asian Market, with sole distributorship rights for Super Garnet from India. With a coveted reputation in the Malaysian market, MBN has obtained approvals such as the Petronas that helped the company stand out from the rest.

In 2010, MBN Resources extended services for Surface Sand Blasting and Painting Works as well. The company is engaged in processing and trading of Garnet Abrasive used in the blasting and painting industry. Garnet is an environmentally friendly product which is widely accepted around the globe for blasting applications. MBN also provides complete solutions for all coating and lining applications for Ship building, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas industry. MBN has its own processing unit in Jalan Kebun Nanas for wet and dry processing of Garnet. The current capacity of mineral processing is 1500 MT/month. The mineral separation unit set up is under progress in the land in Pulau Indah and expected to commence in 2021 thereby increasing the capacity to 5000MT per month.

Board of DirectorsBijo Kunnumpurath (Chairman)An Indian-born citizen of Australia, Bijo Kunnumpurath is the Chairman of Maxworth Minerals. He sketches the vision of the organization on a global scale, providing the way forward in overseeing systems, ensuring compliance with legal / statutory obligations as well as implementing policies in risk management and quality assurance. Recognized as an accomplished entrepreneur with a remarkable business acumen, he has been integrating skills from several business backgrounds to bring about a proactive approach in business development, innovation, change management and governance. Bijo has a Master’s in Business Administration

perfectly complimented by a qualification in Mechanical Engineering. He has worked extensively worldwide and is esteemed as a notable, socially responsible personality in diverse communities across Australia, Malaysia as well as India. He is also a member of GAICD (Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company

Directors). Bijo is currently pursuing Ph.D. at the Swinburne University, in the field of good governance.

Dini Domini K (CEO)Dini Domini has the honour of being the very first employee of the MWT Group of companies. Having proved his competence as part of the management team, he was promoted as Managing Director of the Group in 2019. A mechanical engineer by profession, Dini earned vast exposure and multi-dimensional business insights from diversified business sectors across India, UK and the Middle East. A strong believer in the value of continued education, Dini completed his MBA in top ranks and is seeking the next learning challenge by pursuing a doctoral program. His perfect interpersonal and administrative talents have helped enhance the vertical and horizontal growth of the organisation.

Abd Malik Bin Sulaiman (Director)Energetic, dynamic, enthusiastic and disciplined in all walks of life, Abd Malik Bin Sulaiman is a competent professional and an exceptional leader with vast experience in the business field. He is a key member of the Board of Directors’ of several organizations including MBN Resources Sdn. Bhd. He is currently mentoring the company with his vast experience to help the team achieve new heights of success

across Malaysia.

Santosh Kumar Kanugula (General Manager)Santosh Kumar Kanugula is an innovative and dynamic individual who is a mineral processing engineer by profession. He gained exposure and multi-dimensional business insights from diversified business sectors across India, South East Asia and the Middle East. Over the years he has grown from strength to strength, having successfully completed more than 10 years in generating and building relationships, managing projects from concept to completion.

Bestowed with vast technical understanding and acumen, Santosh continually keeps abreast of new developments in all fields of the mining industry. He has enhanced

the growth and sustainability of the company with his sharp management skills. As a well-networked, enthusiastic team player, he excels in building cross-functional teams and demonstrates exceptional communication skills as well as the ability to make critical decisions in challenging situations. He is a transformational leader with the ability to work independently and develop opportunities that further establish organizational goals. He indeed has the distinction of optimizing leads and contribution to overall 20% growth. His management system is consistent with international and organizational standards.

Bentonite Bentonite is a very widely distributed clay material that is the result of the devitrification and chemical alteration of glassy volcanic ash or tuff. Bentonite should be used as the name of a rock derived from volcanic glass and it is commonly composed of the mineral montmorillonite but less often of beidellite.

Sillimanite Sillimanite is a type of aluminium silicate that is polymorphic to both andalusite and kyanite. It is used as a raw material for high alumina refractories, which are extensively used in the Iron and Steel, Petrochemicals, Electrical, Cement, Zinc and Glass Industries.

GarnetGarnet is a semi-precious stone derived from mined Almandite and Andradite deposits. After extraction, it is processed and screened to the grade desired. Its high density and unique physical properties make garnet nature’s most efficient, effective and safe abrasive.

Granite

Granite is a common type of felsic intrusive igneous rock formed of interlocking crystals of quartz, feldspar, mica, and other minerals in lesser quantities.

Olivine Olivine is one of the most common minerals in the earth, and is a major rock forming mineral. Despite this, good specimens and large crystals are uncommon and sought after. Only few localities yield large examples of this mineral, although small and microscopic grains are found worldwide. Olivine is also found in meteorites, and large grains have been reported in many of them.

Fly Ash Fly Ash is a coal combustion product that is composed of the particulates (fine particles of fuel) that are driven out of coal-fired boilers together with the flue gases. Ash that falls to the bottom of the boiler is called bottom ash.


Micro SilicaMicro Silica is a very fine Pozzolanic Material composed of Amorphous Silica. It is a by-product in the process of manufacturing of Silicon and Ferro Silicon alloys. It can also be produced by densification of burnt Rice Husk. Micro Silica (MS) has proven to be an excellent admixture for Portland cement concrete.

Barite Barite is a mineral composed of barium sulfate, BaSO4. It is usually colourless or milky white, but can be almost any colour, depending on the impurities trapped in the crystals during their formation. Barite is relatively soft, measuring 3-3.5 on Moh’s scale of hardness. It is unusually heavy for a non-metallic mineral. The high density is responsible for its value in many applications. Barite is chemically inert and insoluble.

IlmeniteIlmenite is mostly used in the paints, fabrics, plastics, paper, sunscreen, food and cosmetics industries (as a source of titanium dioxide) . It is used in the steel industry to line blast furnaces, and is also very useful as an abrasive.

PS BallPS Ball is an abrasive that is produced by super- cooling molten steel slag. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, and its most common usage is as an abrasive for the surface preparation of steel prior to the application of paint coatings.
