PARISH MISSION STATEMENT We the people of St. Pius X Parish are formed by the Holy Spirit in the Sacrament of Baptism to become part of the Mystical Body of Christ. We strive through the power of Christ in the Holy Sacrifice to the Mass to show forth God’s transforming love to teach Gospel values; to share time, talent and treasure in good Steward-ship, to invite all to share our joy and share Jesus’ message of His Father’s love with all around us and to re-store all things in Christ.

FAITH FORMATION PROGRAM: CCD Our Faith Formation program is open to all children from Kindergarten age to grade 8. All children must have a required two years of instruc-tions prior to the reception of the sacra-ments. We start the Holy Week with Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. The crowd welcomes Him

with cries of “Hosanna to the Son of David.” Emmanuel, which means ‘God is with us’ has been preparing us for what is coming. He is about to be betrayed, arrested, judged by us,

forced to carry his own cross and be crucified. All this he does willingly. He will have the last

supper with his disciples where he will ordain his disciples as servants of the people and institute

the sacrament of the Eucharist. On Holy Satur-day, we will wait just like the disciples did years ago. What have we done this Lenten season to

prepare ourselves.to become servant of the peo-ple?
