Primary ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities• Assists in managing the cataloging and processing of library resources;• Responsible for providing access to electronic resources;• Oversees management of Serials.• Directly performs cataloging or catalog maintenance tasks as needed• Assists with development and maintenance of the online catalog• Reviews and edits the copy-cataloging prepared by department staff and other librarians;

spot-checks physical processing• Works with the Head of Collections to maintain departmental documentation, produce

reports, and provide collection statistics• Manages day-to-day access functions;• Reports, responds to, investigates, and resolves performance issues related to access and

maintenance of electronic resources;• Direct data management for acquisition and access to electronic resources, including ILS

record management, possible ERM data management, and local electronic resources and database records;

• Resolves complex problems related to orders, renewals, and access;Participates in developing and documenting policies, workflows, and procedures
