Chris has a strong understanding of US and European markets and in his new job he is looking to build on the great successes of MAPFRE in the Spanish and Latam world by adapting their

proposition to fit the different Global markets.

What do customers see as service compared to insurers, where do brokers fit in? Are they necessary? What needs to happen to the

His work lies at the intersection of the computer and social sciences. Cebrian's primary interest is understanding how social networking can make it easier to find people and solve real-

Cebrian came to CSIRO from the University of California at San Diego in La Jolla, USA, where he was involved in large-scale crowdsourcing competitions. His first hands-on work with

mass-scale social networks came through his postdoctoral work with Telefonica Research in Madrid, Spain. Before that, Cebrian worked at Brown University in Providence, USA,

developing search heuristics for complex biological structures.

Cebrian earned a Ph.D. in computer science from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, where his thesis received the dissertation of the year award for his work on plagiarism networks, as

well as a test-of-time Alumni-UAM award ten years after its defense.

His work is best illustrated by his victories in the DARPA Network Challenge as well as the Department of State Tag Challenge, but most importantly, by his brutal defeat in the DARPA

In recent years drones have generated great interest around the world, and we are currently experiencing a phase of expansion of its use

thanks to the new applications and possibilities that have been created. Currently, there is a legal vacuum in many countries, but future

laws will be decisive for industrial, commercial and civilian drones.

The drones were already being used for military purposes, but it seems that current developments of drones and more sophisticated

models, along with current technologies, enhance their possible uses: military, industrial (inspections, audits), model aircraft, messaging,

Packages of the future, citizen security, search and rescue after a disaster, and a host of other applications.

In this paper we will focus on the "Implementation of drones to risk management", mainly focused on industrial inspections, the military

sector and the appropriate use of them.
