Learning Objectives
Log in
1) Go to www.salsalabs.com
2) Find the Client Login link at the top of the screen.
3) Fill out the form and Log in!
Multiple Ways to Create a Supporter
1. Import a list
2.Click “Add Supporter” to manually add one new person of supporters
3.Supporter records are automatically created when users:1. Complete actions2. Submit a form on a sign-up page3. Make an online donation4. or register for an event
Managing Duplicate Records
1. Click “Deduplicate Supporters” to manually merge records (individually or in one batch)
2. Deduplicate upon import
3. Salsa automatically deduplicates on Supporter email when users complete forms
Group of Supporters
Organize supporters into groups. Common groups:
1. Geography based - City/State/Region
2. Action based - Donors/Action-takers
3. List based - Newsletters/Action Alerts/Press Releases/Media
4. Issue based – Climate/Human Rights/Labor
Ways to Add Supporters to Groups
1. From the supporter detail
2. From the group page
3. When importing supporters
4. Populated from a Salsa page (sign-up, action, etc.)
5. From query results
6. Smart groups

1. Open Rate – The number of unique people who opened the email
2. Click-through Rate – The number of unique people who clicked on any links in the email
3. Conversion Rate – The number of unique people who took action after following the link
