Holy Doors Pilgrimage
Pope Francis opened the Holy Door s December 8,2018 until November 20, 2016 to celebrate this
Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy and extended this Plenary Indulgence to locations within
Diocese throughout the world. There are two locations within the Diocese of Venice, the Epiph-
any Cathedral at 350 Tampa Ave West in Venice and Our Lady of Mercy Parish at 240 Park Ave.
in Boca Grande, to accomplish this pilgrimage. Where reconciliation is the forgiveness of sins, a
plenary indulgence is a remission before God of the temporal punishment due to sins whose guilt
has already been forgiven. The Holy Door at the Vatican is normally opened every 25 years with
an extraordinary jubilee being called for a special occasion.

a probe for their mobile preg-
nancy unit.
