Subsidy Scheme for Summer Study Abroad 2014/15 New Asia College Enquiries Please visit College website for more details, or contact Mr. Jack Wong (Tel:3943-1690 Email: [email protected] ) Amount of Subsidy Each participating student will receive the subsidy sponsored by Dr. Wong Kwai-lam, College trustee, given that one of the following conditions can be fulfilled. - Pass 2 courses*: 50% of total programme cost # or HK$20,000, whichever is less - Pass 1 course*: 25% of total programme cost # or HK$10,000, whichever is less * A “course” is defined as one of which the credit can be trans - ferred back to the CUHK. # Tuition, room and board, airfare and insurance Objectives - To encourage students to enrich their learning experience and to broaden their horizon - To deepen students’ understanding of different culture of places worldwide - To foster exchange between universities Application Procedures Online application on the College website (http://www.na.cuhk.edu.hk) is available from 12 - 26 January 2015. Selection Criteria - Academic performance - Priority will be given to those with no previous overseas exchange experience Quota Total 24 students (10 students each will be selected for University of California, Berkeley and University of Cambridge, 4 students will be selected among for the other universities.)
