• Artificial Intelligence - Second year course outlining the basics of artificialintelligence and introduction to LISP programming.

VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava

Submitted the proposal of the following course for consideration in the 2013

academic year.

• Operations Research - is a discipline of applying advanced analyticalmethods to help make better decisions. Also known as managementscience or decision science, it involves the application of informationtechnology in designing systems to operate in the most effective way ordeciding how to allocate scarce human resources, money, equipment,or facilities. The aim of this course is to teach the basic deterministicand advanced stochastic methods for solving different complex com-binatorial / discrete problems of an optimization nature. This coursewill also introduce different problems in transportation, assignmentand scheduling, which are common and have a practical foundation.
