Taut installations require extremely strong end supports, and it is up to the specifier and installer to match the strength of the end support structures with the combined level of tautness and static (weight of cable/fixtures) and dynamic (e.g. wind/ice/vermin) load of the cable.

Premium paper lanterns are made with the finest quality rice paper and include a metal expander with SJ cord clip. Minimal assembly required. There is a metal insert which expands the lantern. Then shade can be clipped onto the Pendant SJ cord. Refer to the Installation Instructions for details. Per the manufacturer, they are rated for Indoor or TEMPORARY outdoor applications.
