    University level positions/ Expertise - Dr M Ramachandra Mohan is an educationist, researcher and an administrator working as Professor (19 years) since the year 2000 in the Department of Zoology Bangalore University. He having PG Teaching Experience (33 Years) and Post Doctoral Research Experience from the year 1991 (28 Years). At present holding the position as Dean, Faculty Science, (Dean, and Faculty Engineering. 6-12-2018 to 11-12-2019) Prof. Mohan is now serving as a Member of Syndicate and Academic Council, Central Purchase Committee and Governing Council Member in Bangalore University and also served as a Centenary year Chairman, Dept. of Zoology .

    Research Expertise - He has doctoral conferment based on thesis viz. Ph.D. (Topic - Fish Physiology and Endocrinology) in Zoology Subject of Bangalore University). He is conferred D Sc Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa by International Agency for Standards and Ratings 2019),

    Ph.D Guiding / adjudicated Expertise - He successfully guided 10 Research Scholars for the award of Ph.D. degrees and also awarded 04 M.Phil. and 10 M Sc Dissertations. For more than 100 students. He adjudicated 130 Ph.D. theses from 20 universities and He conducted 45 PhD Viva Boards as Chairman in Many Indian Universities.

    Awards- He has been awarded. G.P. Chatterjee Memorial National Award. (Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of India), and he carried out post-doctoral research in Ceske Budejvice, (Czech republic) during 1997 and also worked as Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Osaka Otsu, (Japan), 2001.With the funding support of (United Nation Environmental Programme (UNEP) & International Lake Environmental Committee(ILEC). He won Best Research Awards viz. Distinguished Scientist of the Year Award – 2008, Environmentalist of the Year Award – 2002, Scientist of The Year Award – 2001. He was also awarded UGC-SRF, 1990 and UGC JRF 1886.

    Fellowships. He earned fellowships like 1 Association of Biotechnology and Pharmacy, India (FABP). 2 Fellow-National Environmental Science Academy. (FSESc), 3 ILEC (International Lake Environmental Committee),UNEP (United Nation Environmental Programme ) Fellowship (2001), To attend the Workshop in Japan. 4 UNEP-ILEC, Fellowship, 1999 To attend the Training in Czech republic,

    Projects - He has successfully completed research projects with the funding support of the University Grants Commission. Dr Mohan contribute his expertise as a National Statuary Body Member, (CPCSEA) reviewed and clearance of All Indian animal research projects. He served as a UGC Committee Member for more than 100 scientific projects for College/University Teachers

    Publications - He published 210 research papers in both national and International Journals of repute. Published 06 Books, 24 Book Chapters. He has participated in more than 100 seminars / conferences and presented more than 100 findings., All his research and extension activities are presented in Live Telecasted of Television as a Programme and many of the findings are shared in the conferences organized by him sell as a chairman of National and International level.

    He has found solutions to the rural issues by formulating topics which has greatly benefited rural masses and has also identified more than 5000 indigenous peoples and Farmers, and provided them education and material support and uplifted them by giving a tryst to their destiny. He was engaged in a relentless battle against unemployment in the past by a fusion of the market requirements and the technical skills of the trainees He established Centre for Sustainable Eco Technology for the development of organic green technologies, such as not only vermicomposting and termite and bees for remover of dead garbage and pollination for the benefit of the farming community and trained them on technological applications for effective abatement of pollution hazards due to toxic constituents. The organic humus developed using composting technology has provided succour to marginal farmers by unfolding indigenous job market. Many farmers below the poverty line have
