Automatic Engine Overheat

Prevention

If the engine coolant temperaturegets too high, the CPU controllerlowers the engine speed so to coolthe engine.

Anti Restart System

The new system protects the starterfrom re-starting during engineoperation, even if the operatoraccidentally turns the start key again.

Power boost control System

When the power boost system isactivated, digging power increasesabout 10%.It is especially useful when extrapower is temporarily needed, forinstance, when digging hard earthand rock.

Automatic Warming-up System

After the engine is started, if theengine coolant temperature is low,the CPU controller increases theengine speed and pump flowautomatically so to warm up theengine more effectively.

Advanced Hydraulic System

The advanced CAPO(Computer Aided PowerOptimization) system maintainsengine and both pump powerat optimum levels. Modeselections are designed forvarious work loads somaintaining high performancewhile reducing fuelconsumption. Features suchas auto deceleration andpower boost are included inthe system. The systemmonitors engine speed,coolant and hydraulic oiltemperature. Contained withinthe system are self diagnosticcapabilities which aredisplayed by error codes onthe cluster.

Auto Deceleration System

When remote-controlvalves are in neutralposition for morethan 4 seconds, the CPU controllerinstructs theaccelerator actuatorto reduce engine

speed to 1000 rpm. This decreases fuelconsumption and reduces cab noise levels.

Max. Flow Cut-off System

For precise control and finishing jobs, the Max.Flow Cut-off System reduces pump flow, allowingsmooth operation.

Self Diagnostic System

The CPU controller diagnoses problems in theCAPO system caused by electric and hydraulicmalfunctions and displays them on the LCDmonitor of the cluster through error codes. Thiscontroller has the capacity to identify 48 distincttypes of errors. The information from this device,such as engine rpm, main pump deliverypressure, battery voltage, hydraulic temperatureand the status of all electrical switches, providesthe operator with the exact condition of hismachine. This instrument makes it easier totroubleshoot the machine in case of failures.

One Touch Deceleration System

When the one touch deceleration switch ispressed, the CPU controller controls theacceleration actuator to reduce engine speed to700 rpm. Once this switch is pressed again, theengine speed recovers to its preset RPM.

Pump Flow Control System

In neutral position: Pump flow is reduced to aminimum to eliminate power loss. In operation:Maximum pump flow is delivered to the actuator toincrease the speed. With movement of the controllever, pump flow is automatically adjusted and theactuator speed can be proportionally controlled.

Boom & Arm Holding System

The holding valves in the main control blockprevents the boom & arm from lowering over anextended period in a neutral position.

Arm Flow Regeneration System

Arm flow regeneration valve provides smootharm-in operation without cylinder cavitation.

Hydraulic Damper in Travel Pedal

Improved controllability & feeling duringmovement of the machine by use of shockreducing material.

The QSM11 uses advanced electroniccontrols to meet the toughest emissionsstandards without compromising anything.Exceptional fuel efficiency, durability,dependability and the highest power-to-weight ratio in its class are still trademarkfor this engine. It runs quieter and cleaneras ever.

The QSM11 engine comes with a powerfulElectronic Control Module (ECM). Usinginput from sensors located throughout theengine, it governs timing and metering offuel. Fuel is injected into the cylindersusing Cummins dual-pulse technology.This injection method helps reducingengine noise levels, increasesresponsiveness and improves fuelefficiency.

CUMMINS QSM11

EngineThe six cylinders, turbocharged, 4 cycle, Charger air cooledengine is built for power,reliability, economy and lowemissions. This engine meets Tier IIIemissions regulations.

Strong and Stable Lower Frame (Adjustable track frame)

Reinforced box-section frame is all welded using low-stress, high tensile strength steel. It guaranteessafety and resistance against external impact when driving on rough ground and working on wet sites.The use of highly durable upper and lower rollers and track guards ensures proper machine transferon all terrains. The long undercarriage incorporates heavy duty excavator style components. An X-legtype center frame is integrally welded for maximum strength and durability.

Reinforced Bucket and Bucket Linkage

To prevent excessive wear of pins and bushessealed joints have been applied. Bucket linkdesign incorporates high durability and anti wearcharacteristics. Additional reinforcement plateson cutting edge section are welded. Thickersteel and an additional lateral plate are put inplace to reinforce the bucket.

Powerful and Precise Swing Control

Improved shock absorbing characteristics makestopping swing movement a precise andsmooth action.

Track Rail Guides & Adjusters
